“The Bible uses staying planted very beautifully throughout God’s Word. We are encouraged to be rooted, grounded, and firmly planted, which speaks of spiritual stability and growth.
We are told to be “always abounding in the work of the Lord,” knowing that our labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). And in Psalms, we are told that those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God (Psalm 92:13-15). We are also encouraged to be rooted and built up in Christ, established in the faith, and abounding therein with thanksgiving (Colossians 2:6-7).
With staying planted it brings stability to our lives. It helps keep us flourishing and keeps confusion at bay. Amen.
When we stay planted in our own lives living with gratitude for what God has given us, embracing our gifts, talents, families, and homes we remain focused, persistent, and purposeful. We build a beautiful life, and in turn, we live out the life that God has called us to live. Amen.
We do not spend our time looking at someone else’s life and desiring what they have. Instead, we keep our eyes on our own homes, our own marriages, and the perfect will of God being worked out in our hearts and minds.
Staying planted produces strong roots. Amen. Staying planted brings forth fruit that we will eventually harvest in our lives. But constantly uprooting ourselves, starting over, and beginning again often brings more digging, more watering, more tears, more preparation, and much more hard work to establish those roots once again. It takes tremendous effort.
When we begin looking around and convincing ourselves that someone else has it better, that someone else’s grass is greener, we stop watering our own grass. We stop building our own lives. We begin digging up the very things we once planted in faith. As the saying goes, we start digging up in doubt what we planted in faith.
And where doubt grows, fear often follows. Yet faith overcomes fear. Amen.
So my prayer this morning is this: Stay planted in your life. Be thankful for your life. Do not become envious, jealous, or belittle the life that God has given you. Amen.
Instead, build your life well. Protect your life well. Live a good life, a joyful life, and a beautiful life the life that God our Father has equipped and prepared you to live (Hebrews 13:21).
So stay planted. Keep watering your grass. Keep living out each day the life God has given you. Continue doing the best you can with what you have. Amen.
Because what you have is enough. And what you water grows. It grows, and it will become something beautiful.
So take care of yourself and those you love. Keep your roots grounded where God has planted you. Trust Him, remain faithful, and continue growing. And in turn harvesting the very things you’ve worked so hard for. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️🌱
