“If only we were able to live our lives content. Amen. Learning how to live in the moment of our lives, learning how to be thankful in all things, and learning how to appreciate every moment that has been given to us. Learning, regardless of the situation, that we can be as Scripture says, whether we are hungry or full, whether we abound or suffer need. (Philippians 4:12). Amen.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we will take nothing with us. Having food and clothing, let us be content (1 Timothy 6:7-8).
And what is contentment? It is a state of quiet happiness and inner peace. It is defined as feeling satisfied with current circumstances and accepting what you have without always having a constant urge or desire for more. It represents a steady, positive emotion linked to the feeling that you have enough. Amen.
Living peacefully. Living in the present time not in yesterday’s regrets or tomorrow’s worries. Amen.
In contentment, we live better lives with who we are, with what we have, but more than anything, with whom we are trusting and believing in, which is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
We do this by training our minds to think well about what we have been blessed with. It is speaking well over our lives and over all that we have been given, all the while knowing that we are blessed, happy, whole, and complete in the One who made us and created us for this life that He alone has blessed us to live. Amen.
So my prayer is that we all would have and live a life of contentment; that we would be so thankful for it all the good, the bad, and the ugly. That our eyes would always be looking up and that our hearts would always be overflowing with love, peace, and joy. And that it would be evident in our countenance, in our speech, and in all of who we are for the Lord our God. Amen.
For contentment is one of the greatest blessings and gifts that we can give ourselves, but not only ourselves but it is also a gift to those around us. It shows a heart of love and appreciation for what God has done, as well as appreciation for what others have done and for all that we ourselves have been given. Amen.
So learn to stay in a mindset of peace and contentment. As I always say, keep praying and thanking the Lord for the rest. Amen.
For contentment is the win and it is the greatest win of all for each of us and our lives that we live. Amen!”
