“Yes & Amen!”

“This morning as I opened up my Bible, the words that flew off the page to me were found in Jeremiah, when the Lord says, “I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thy wounds.” (Jeremiah 30:17). Amen.

And I thought, yes Lord, all of Your promises are yes and amen. For it tells us in (2 Corinthians 1:20) that all of the promises of God in Him are Yes and Amen. Amen. Because there are so many promises in God’s Word for us, His children. And when we exalt that over us and our lives, then we build confidence in the journey that we are on. We gain strength in the journey of life because we are trusting in God and what He speaks and says over us. Amen.

We block out and stay focused on God and His Word rather than all of the noise that tries to drown out God’s voice and His promises to us. Amen. For the Lord promises to heal the brokenhearted and bind up our wounds. (Psalm 147:3). Amen. And again, He promises to restore to us all the years that the locust hath eaten. (Joel 2:25). Amen.

For God says that for our shame we shall have double, and for confusion we shall rejoice in our portion. Therefore in our land we shall possess double, and everlasting joy shall be unto us. (Isaiah 61:7). Just as God restored and turned the captivity of Job when Job prayed for his friends, the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. (Job 42:10). Hallelujah.

So in other words, what that scripture says to me is this forgiveness is serious business. Amen. For it tells us that if we forgive men their trespasses, our Heavenly Father will also forgive us. (Matthew 6:14). Amen. And let us not forget Peter, when he said to the Lord, “How often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Seven times?” And Jesus said, “Not seven times, but seventy times seven.” (Matthew 18:21–22). And that is a lot of forgiveness to be had. Amen. We can barely make it one time, let alone 490 times as the Lord commands us to do. Amen.

For it tells us that when we stand praying, we are to forgive if we have ought against anyone, so that our Father which is in Heaven may forgive us our trespasses. (Mark 11:25). Amen.

So my conclusion in all of this is simply this forgiveness brings freedom. And not just freedom from the Lord Jesus over our lives, but freedom from captivity as well. Amen. Just as He did for Job, when Job chose to forgive and pray for his friends, the Bible says that God restored unto Job twice as much as he had before. Hallelujah.

Because yes, all of God’s promises are yes and amen, but there is also always an act of obedience on our part. Amen. So to receive all that God has for us, we as well must be obedient to the Lord, His will, and His Word for each of our lives so that we can fully receive all of the yeses and amens God has available and ready for us, His children. Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
