“As I sit here this morning under one of the shelters at Tanglewood Park, looking up at the roof, it reminds me every time of Noah’s Ark. Amen. The design of it looks like the inside of a huge boat, if you will. The archway and the craftsmanship are truly beautiful. Every time I am here, I think about Noah’s Ark and how God protected Noah and his family from the judgment that was coming upon the earth.
For the Lord was grieved by the state of His creation. Amen. The Bible says the earth was filled with violence. Many say it was almost a reversal of creation that God intended to take place a de-creation, if you will because of all the evil overtaking mankind. Amen.
But I think about how much God loves us and the extent He went to just to save Noah and his family. Some scholars estimate it was anywhere between 55 and 75 years before the flood even came after Noah began building the ark. They also say God warned mankind 120 years before He ever told Noah to build it. And when the flood arrived, Noah was 600 years old. Amen. Can you even imagine?
Yet the rain fell for 40 days, and the floodwaters covered the earth for 150 days. And the entire flood lasted 371 days. (Genesis 7:1–24). Amen.
So when I consider all of that and everything God went through and how long it took to save Noah and his family, I think about our lives now and how God is still the same God today as He was then. Amen. Scripture says He never changes. (Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 13:8, James 1:17). Hallelujah.
So whatever you are facing today, whatever you are waiting on, whatever obstacle stands before you whether you are questioning, doubting, second-guessing, unsure, or confused I want to say this to us all, we may not know, we may not understand, and we may not have all the answers. Amen. But we serve a great God, and He alone knows. Amen.
He alone orders our footsteps. (Psalm 37:23). He alone loves us, keeps us, protects us, and works everything together for our good. (Romans 8:28). As we place our trust in Him. Amen.
So it may feel like a long time, but believe me, God’s timing is absolutely perfect. (Ecclesiastes 3:11, Habakkuk 2:3, Psalm 18:30). His timing is always perfect.
So I pray that we have peace as we wait, that we remain calm and patient, and that we stay hopeful, joyful, and dedicated to the call, the purpose, and the plan of the Almighty. Amen.
Even if we may look a little “out there,” or even a little crazy at times if you will. May we trust God and follow His voice, just as Noah did, as the Lord leads and guides us into His place of safety and into His promised land. That He alone has prepared for you and me. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
