“So this past weekend my sister Judy and I went to a Women of Joy conference over in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee..and it was fantastic..so much worship and praise to the Lord..the women poured their hearts out before the Lord..it was a beautiful thing to behold..and maybe for the fact of Covid and really appreciating the fact to come together and be together without fear or shame..Amen..but either way the message was about Joy..and having Joy in our lives..and in who we are for Christ..so one of the worship pastors said this..so many will say if only my kids would do this or that..I would be so happy..if only my husband or wife would do this..or act this way..or whatever the case..I would be so happy..Amen..if only we lived there..if only we had this amount of money..if only my friend would come around more..if only my family would visit more..I would be so happy..and I would have so much Joy in my life..if only..Amen!”

“And he goes on to saying that our Joy is not found in a person..in a place, or a thing..Amen..our Joy is only found in Christ..and in our worship and praise to Him..it is found in our communion with the Lord..it is only found in the place as to where we step over into the will of God for our lives..Amen..for when we find that..we find contentment..we find peace..we find Joy..Amen..for how many of ya know that everyday we will face something..or go through something..and be in places we don’t want to be..we will face things we don’t want to face..we have struggles..we have difficulties..and have life..Amen..and if we place and hand over our Joy into something or someone else’s hands..then we are gonna be very disappointed..Amen!”

“My son, Anthony, loves this scripture in the word of God..it is his favorite one..and that is this..In whatsoever state I find myself in I have learned to be content..Philippians 4:11..Amen..because godliness with contentment is of a great gain..1 Timothy 6:6..Amen..because what happens when we are not content?..well, we get frustrated..we get overwhelmed..we get angry..we get mad..we throw a fit..we talk about people..we blame people..we lose our witness..we lose our spark of happiness..we simply lose our Joy..praise the Lord..so this morning I wanna say to us all don’t wait for life to be what you think it should be before you choose to be happy..and to enjoy your life..Amen..because Gods Joy is our strength..Nehemiah 8:10..Amen..and when we abide in Christ..we have everything we need..regardless of what is happening around us..Amen..so let go of the problems that you have been holding on to..let go of the bitterness..let go of the past..the hurts..the mistakes..let it all go and let God fill you with His Joy..His peace..and His contentment..and live this life well..for this life is a gift from God..and it is our choice and our decision to choose to enjoy it..and be happy all the while doing so..filled to the overflow with Joy unspeakable and full of glory..sharing and shining the gospel of Christ to a lost and dying world who needs Jesus to be Lord for them and their lives..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
