“As we are moving into the month of October, I always begin to think about the seasons in our lives, as well as the changes that happen within our lives. For some of us, we can’t stand the fact that we’re moving into the fall season. Not because we don’t like fall, but because we simply prefer the summer months, with all the warm weather and the long nights that we have. But the fact of the matter is that seasons are going to happen. Change, in and of itself, is completely inevitable. Whether we desire it or not, it will happen regardless, because it always does. Amen!

For we can all look back over our lives and see just how much our lives have changed. The Lord is always stirring things within us and bringing about change. He is always causing us to grow, to mature, and to move forward in our walks with Him. Amen!

And if we stay exactly where we are, then honestly, we don’t grow or move forward in our faith or in our walks with Christ. For the Bible tells us in the book of Ecclesiastes that there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. Amen!

It says, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.

So, I’m not sure what season you are in within your life at this very present moment, but as for me and my life, so much is changing. And I’m okay with that. There is peace in the midst of all the change that is taking place and happening. Amen!

But my heart and my prayer for you is that you will not be afraid of the changes taking place in your life. Instead, let your faith rise up stronger than ever, and move in faith over fear. Amen!

For faith wins every time in our lives. And change can be good. It may not always make sense. You may not understand it all. You may not even see where the road ahead is leading you. But just know that God is in control of you and your life. You are His child. So follow the leading and guiding of the Holy Ghost of God, and trust and believe that wherever the Lord is taking you is the very place He has already prepared for you. Amen!

So move forward. Trust God. And let the seasons of your life sweep you off your feet. Amen!

For seasons are simply beautiful. I love when my life changes, and I love when the seasons change. There is something about change that awakens a beauty within us. It causes us to see and look at life from a different perspective and through a different lens. It keeps us fresh, ready, and open for life and for whatever may come our way.

So let us grow. Let us move forward. Let us step into this new season of life with much grace and very much dignity, always leaning upon and trusting in our Lord.

Whatever season you may find yourself in today, remember that God is there with you. He has not forgotten you, He has not abandoned you, and He is not finished with you. There is still growth ahead, there is still purpose ahead, and there is still beauty to be found in the season you are walking through.

So embrace the season. Trust the process. Follow the Lord. And allow Him to lead you into whatever He has prepared for you. Amen!”
