“The little things!”

I’m not sure about most of ya, but as for me I love the little things in my life..I love the simplicity of lighting a candle in my home…and the fragrance that comes from it..I love baking…I love making a pot of coffee and enjoying it while just sitting and watching the squirrels run and play..I love reading…I love to sing..and I love to cook and enjoy a movie with my family..I know that making a home to me is the most important aspect in my life..when my husband and son are content..and when our home is comfortable..then I feel within myself that all is well within our lives…for the home is such a fantastic representation of who we are as individuals..and my home it is a very bright place..I love cheery colors..bright reds..and vibrant yellows..and I love having candy and cookies or what not on my counters for others to enjoy when they stop by..I love to feed people..and I love taking care of them..but more then that I love my home to be a place of love…and I love it being a place that is welcoming for all that would enter or ever come in..for you see we live in a world that is very fast paced..always movement..and noise..so much chaos…there is rarely any quietness when your out and about working..and shopping or just doing them needful things that need taking care of…but one place that should always be a place of rest and peace..should be the home..for as I said our homes are who we are..they tell a lot about us and what we like to what we don’t like…to what we allow and so forth..so today my focus of course and my attention is on that inward man of ours, that inward home so to speak.. for I know that the bible speaks clearly about keeping it free from this life and keeping it all  cleaned up..Matthew 23:26/2 Corinthians 4:16..for that inward man it is a constant work..just as our natural homes in which we live in is a constant work for us..we get up and we begin to clean…make beds..do laundry..cook…dishes…take out the trash..dust..run the vacuum..and for some we mop..we sweep..and on and on we go about our days taking care of our homes..and it’s a lot of work to stay on top of it..it’s not easy..but if we don’t stay on top of it and instead we choose to let it go, we get a mess and we get that mess pretty quickly when we let it slide on by..not doing daily the things that really need to be done..but spiritually speaking here guys…that inward man of ours daily needs to be dealt with..and daily needs to be checked over..and washed up and cleaned up…for daily we have got to check ourselves…for we are told that we are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling..Philippians 2:12..and I always use to think and wonder why that we were told that…but really if we think about it..who other then the Lord knows us as we do..see we know who we are..we know what needs to be worked on in our lives and in our worlds..no one else knows all that other stuff better then we do  ourselves..of course we know that Jesus does..but we are to work on us..and be real with us..everything and anything it is that we are..and take all of who we are and give it to the Lord..for people see us as they choose to see us..really they see the outside of us..they see the way we dress..the way we act and what not..but they don’t see the true blue us..just as when others may come into our home and they may say it’s so clean in here..and in which case you may reply well, thank you, but I really need to clean here and do this or do that..because only we know where that dirt so to speak is at in our homes..and in which case our spiritual homes as well…so today I pray we all keep our homes clean and free from anything that would harm us and our walks with the Lord..and I pray that we would choose to focus more on that inward other than the outward…for honestly it is always a work in progress…so choose to let us all live our lives simple when concerning everything that is who we are..let us clean up our homes..and let us get rid of all that stuff that tries to weigh on us and weigh us down..for it’s amazing at how much stuff can get accumulated in our lives…and to much of anything is not good for anyone..so let us do a check and do a little inventory over our lives..and over our homes…freeing ourselves from all that stuff that is no good for you and no good for me..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
