“If we would only look for the Lord in the little things that concern our lives, we would forever remain happy all the days of our lives. Amen! For when we wake up in the morning and get out of that nice, cozy, warm bed, we can be thankful for waking up with a sound mind and being able to look around and see all the blessings that the Word says God continually loads us with. Psalm 68:19.

From having a home, food, family, friends, jobs, and church to simply being able to walk, talk, smile, laugh, and enjoy the seasons of our lives, we have so many reasons to be thankful. All day long, we can see God’s grace and love extended toward each of us. Amen! We see Him in the little things, from the compliment someone gives us to the kindness reflected in someone’s eyes. We see Him in life itself, in the little birds that make their way to our homes to rest for a while, and in the squirrels that run and play so freely in our yards. Amen!

For it is through all these good things, these little things, that God speaks to us and reveals Himself to us. Amen! When we look for the Lord throughout our day, we will find Him. Jeremiah 29:13. We will find Him in so many things that touch our hearts and concern our lives, for we serve a wonderful Lord!

So today, my prayer is that you will look through eyes of love and seek God in the little things of your life. For those little things are, honestly, the BIG things! They may seem small, but they always speak volumes to us all. They remind us of God’s goodness, His grace, and His everlasting love.

A life filled with gratitude leads us toward a life of joy and peace. So let us choose happiness, count our blessings, and always look for God in every single moment that touches our lives. For when we learn to recognize Him in the little things, we begin to realize just how BIG His love truly is. Amen!”
