We live a life as to where any of us can pick and choose..we have that privilege..now I understand that in other places around the world they all don’t have the same privilege as we do here in America..but we do have a lot of freedoms..and we are free guys to pick and choose anything it is really…concerning our careers in life…concerning our family how many children we would like to have..to if we are going to get married…how we like to dress..how we like to fix our hair..what kind of makeup we would like to wear..what color nail polish we would want to put on..everything in our lives we all pick and choose…whether we like icing on our cake…or whether we like to just eat a good ole pound cake with no icing…or if we would like a piece of pie with cool-whip or ice cream…or whether we like to eat it without it…what kind of coffee we like to drink..and whether or not we like it black..or whether we like it with a little cream..or maybe a little cream and sugar…but pretty much you get where I’m going here…all of us have been given the honor and privilege in our lives to honestly do anything that we alone choose to do…we can pick and choose all day long…and we do…we all like certain things..we like to dress and look certain ways…we like to eat a certain way…we like to decorate our homes a certain way..and all of this is fine and dandy…but what I’ve come to say to ya this morning is that we get to pick and choose all of that other stuff guys..but when it comes to Jesus and going to heaven…there is but only “ONE” way…and that is through Jesus Christ our Lord…the word of the Lord says this in John 14:6..Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me….so we don’t get to pick and choose about how we go to heaven to be with the Lord…for the Lord tells us as well in His word for us to enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it…Matthew 7:13-14…and as well that there is really but one way we should be worshipping the Lord, for the word says that we “MUST” worship the Lord in spirit and in truth…John 4:24…and as well it says that if any of us desires to come after the Lord..then as well we “MUST” deny ourselves and pick up our crosses and follow the Lord…Matthew 16:24…so what I know to be true guys is the word of God..and with the word of the Lord and what the word says is truth..and we must follow that word and what it says for each of us to do…because Gods word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathways…Psalm 119:105..and as well Gods word is living and breathing…sharper than any two-edged sword..Hebrews 4:12…so when it comes to the word of God..when comes to Jesus…there is “NEVER” no pick and choose type of game that any of us get to play..for none us should ever desire to play games with God..for God is gentle that is for sure..but as well God is fierce..and God doesn’t go against Himself and His word..for whatever it says it stands to be true and has always stood to be true…from the beginning of it all..for God does not desire for any of us to be lukewarm…but He says to rather be hot or cold to be lukewarm He would rather spew us out from His mouth…Revelation 3:16..so just know that God is not man that He would lie..Numbers 23:19…and that if it’s written in His word…it never changes…for God never changes…the bible says He is the same, yesterday, today and forevermore..Hebrews 13:8…so let us know that with the Lord never let us compromise..and try to do this or do that to get this or get that…try to mess around and play around picking and choosing what we want to do and or follow in our lives…because there is no pick and choose when it comes to our salvation and the life we live for the Lord…so think about the choices your making…but as well make sure your choices are lining up with the word of God…for the bible says that in the beginning was the word..and the word was with God..and the word was God..John 1:1…Hallelujah….so we live, we breathe and we follow after the word…for it’s all about God…and knowing that we are never disregarding what the Lord desires and what he wants from us in our lives..for He is the same with us all…He never sets different rules or regulations…it’s the same for all His children…and there is only one bible…and there is only one Lord..and God over all..and His name is Jesus Christ..1 Corinthians 8:6…so let us look to the Lord today…and let us never compromise..and never start picking and choosing what we think to be right and wrong..because when we do…we lose in life guys..and we fall back in life…for with every choice and every decision there is as well a consequence…so let us be smart..and let us understand that once again Gods ways are the best ways…so let us seek and follow Jesus always and
