How easy it is to turn a mole hill into a mountain..how easy it is to have your mind start drifting and thinking the worst…if you’ll notice at how quickly you will go from thinking that smallest thing all the way to the worst thing…and it just continues on..till at end you are only left with sleepless nights…joy stolen…peace disturbed…to literally seeming and feeling that all is lost in life..that overnight everything went from complete wellness and wholeness too complete and total loss…but that’s how that mind always seems to do to us…if we let it…the mind it honestly is a terrible thing to waste…and that ole devil he swindles his way into all of our lives any and every which way that he can…anything that he can do is what he does to get us to utterly give in and give up in our walks and journeys that were on for the Lord…he throws obstacle after obstacle our way…and let us remember if we have failed to remember that he will continually throw things and obstacles our way…for that’s just what he does…so as far as who we are in Christ…once again we go always back to scripture for the word says as a man thinks so is he..Proverbs 23:7…and as I was saying at the beginning of this how easy it is for us all to turn a mole hill into a mountain…how do we take something so simple and make it into something so huge and enormous?…like in the mist of it all that we somehow forget everything that the Lord has done to what He is doing..and we grab ahold of every thought that comes our way..and we run with it…never considering the thought…and never considering really what is there in front of you….for as well we have got to go by what we know to be true…we don’t go by feelings..but we go by truth and by knowing…because the devil is a liar..and the father of them all..John 8:44..and he will use anything as I said and everything he can to get each of us distracted..and shook up over things that aren’t even there or even happening in our lives..all because he always throws different thoughts around ya and your mind gets to wondering and wondering places that it never should go…so we go back yet once again and always go back to the word of the Lord…and here’s what it says unto us to do..Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;..2 Corinthians 10:5….for as well the word says this unto us…(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)…2 Corinthians 10:4….so what do we do when were facing things that are getting us a little out of control with our thinking and a little out of control in our lives…causing heartaches and causing disturbances?…well, for one we pray and we continually for the Lord says that is His will concerning each of us…1 Thessalonians 5:17-18…for guys we have got to know that prayer is the key to the answers and all of the problems that we are facing in our lives…for remember and know that Jesus had to steal away from it all and go and pray..Luke 5:16…so how much more are we going to have to find our place and cover ourselves and our families in prayer!…for the Lord Jesus Himself was tempted of the devil…Matthew 4:1…so we know that we as well are going to be fought and fought all the time…that’s why the bible says to stay alert…because your adversary the devil…as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour…1 Peter 5:8..so let us all do what it is says for us to do in Ephesians chapter 6 verses 11-18 which is this..Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;…so my prayer is that we all stay wise..for the Lord has made us wiser than the enemy..Psalm 119:98…and always know that with every temptation and with every problem the Lord has made a way of escape..1 Corinthians 10:13…so don’t let us forgot that we should keep our minds pulled together at all times!…for our minds will take all of us places that we never want to be or ever want to go in our lives…so go by facts and go by truth..and stand firm always on the word of God..for yes the mind it is a terrible thing to waste..and I pray none of us are wasting ours on a bunch of lies, deceit and mess…let us shake it off and rise up above all that stuff that ole devil tries to consume us with…for we are children of the “Most High God”..and God is for us and never is He ever against us..Romans 8:31…so let us all keep praying..and as I had wrote yesterday…if you have a problem in your life than you keep praying until that problem is solved…cause that ole devil will steal anything and everything that he can get his creepy little hands on…so let him who
