”Start paving another one!”

“When you look in the mirror, are you pleased with what you see? Are you happy with the life you’ve made? Are you happy with the choices and decisions you have made?

Because the person in the mirror is the only person who can truly change your life.

The great and most famous, beautiful Dolly Parton said it well “If you don’t like the road you’re walking, start paving another one.” Amen.

What that means is that you have the power to change your direction and break bad habits in your life. You have the power to build a new life a better life and become what God intends for you to become and be in this life. Amen!

Because here’s the thing if you don’t do what you are called to do, and you don’t live the life that is burning inside of you the life you desire you may miss out on all that life can be and should be. Amen!

It’s about finding that thing you are truly good at and going after it with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.

People often blame others and play the blame game, pointing fingers at everyone else for all the reasons why they haven’t, didn’t, or even don’t do the things they want to do. But again, it is the person looking back at us in the mirror ourselves who can make the greatest difference in our lives through the choices and decisions we make every single day. Amen!

Scripture tells us that God directs our footsteps and orders our steps. We may make our plans, but He is the One who guides us in the way we should go.

Psalm 37:23–24 says that the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord, and Psalm 119:133 says, “Order my steps in thy word.” Amen.

In other words, God does have a plan for our lives, but we still have to put forth the effort. It doesn’t simply happen by chance, nor does it happen by sitting around and waiting day after day. Effort has to be put forth on our part. Amen!

For Scripture says, “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26

So simply know this our happiness in life begins with us following through on the desires God has placed within our hearts. We must pray and pursue the Lord for wisdom, guidance, and strength as we walk this journey.

We must keep moving forward each day toward our goals and dreams, knowing that with every step we take, we are paving a new pathway. We are changing things for the good, and we are creating the possibility of better days ahead.

Will it happen overnight? Not necessarily.

But it can get better every day. It can become easier every day. And with every step forward, you are becoming stronger, wiser, and closer to the place God has for you. Amen!

So don’t let another day pass you by without moving toward the new place God has for you.

Encourage yourself in the Lord!

Pray. Ask God for wisdom, strength, guidance, and discernment. Ask Him to help you choose wisely in the decisions you make every day.

Remember, you are not a tree. You don’t have to stay stuck in one place.

You have the power to change. You have the power to move. You have the power to make different choices. And you have the power, with God’s help, to pave a new pathway for your life.

So look in the mirror and ask yourself Are you happy with what you see? Are you living the life God has called you to live?

If the answer is no, don’t stay stuck.

Start paving another road.

Take one step.

Then another.

Pray, believe, work, and keep moving forward.

God has not forgotten you, and your story is not over.

There are still better days ahead. Amen!

”For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen & Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
