So the other day I had watched this cute little video and maybe you guys had watched it too…but anyhow it had this monkey and a dog in it..and the monkey was leading the dog across the rocks and in between the rocks was water because it was a river they were crossing..and whoever had put them there was videoing it all..and they had a leash on the dog and the monkey was holding the leash and walking the dog across this obstacle course is what it really looked like to me…but anyhow the dog did really well letting the monkey lead him and guide him across until they got to the end and it was a really big jump to have to jump over to get onto the stairs which would lead them to the land..but that little doggy was not going to cross there..he was determined that he couldn’t do it…but that monkey got up on them stairs and he kept on pulling that dog..and the dog kept pulling back as if to say, I can’t do this..but that monkey would not give up in the fact to getting that dog across safely to the other side..so he continued on pulling, and pulling until finally the little doggy got up enough courage and he decided to go on and jump…and it was a big jump that he had to take…but praise be to Jesus he made it…Hallelujah..and then him and that monkey went on up them stairs to that dry land…but the video I’d found to be very amusing…because it reminded me of us..and how we do with the Lord..and at how God is trying to get us to jump..knowing that He knows were gonna be okay..if we jump so He continues to pull on us and our heart strings…doing everything that He can do get us to be obedient to Him and His will for our lives…but see we have to be the ones in whom decides to jump…just as the little dog he finally decided that he would just go for it…and he made it…the same with us…the Lord can deal and deal with us about what to do and what He wants for us to be doing and what not..but as well the Lord doesn’t make any of us do anything in our lives…for we all have been given free will to choose just whatever it is that we alone decide to do in our lives…but see the thing is that when we do decide to jump and we do decide to let go and let God with our lives…then we will reach that place as to where it is that were needing to be…we will reach our promise land…and even if we do fall always know that the Lord will be right there to catch us…for you know what they say if you fail that only means that your trying…and trying is better than doing nothing…for we learn by our mistakes in life…we grow and mature by at least stepping up out of our comfort zones and following the Lord…and His leading…for we know that were not waiting on God guys…but that God is waiting on us…for the Lord is always on the move in each of our lives if only we let Him..and we do what He wants for us to do….we don’t try to do other things…or do we try to do what someone else has been called to do…but we do what we’ve been equipped with to do…Hebrews 13:21..and to use and use all for the glory of God…so today if the Lord is nudging on your heart…and He is needing for you to do something..then by all means just take that leap of faith..and go forward in your life…cause a lot of times we ourselves need that pulling and stirring up in our lives…cause that’s when the Lord is moving and the waters are stirring…when it’s all going every which way in our lives…that’s when change is happening and that’s when God is getting ready to do something great…so be ready for whatever it is that the Lord is asking of you…for Gods ways are way better than ours..Isaiah 55:8…for He knows our lives from the beginning all the way to the end..Psalm 139:1-24…and God’s ways are the best ways…for He places us where we need to be and when we need to be there…for there’s no other place that any of us would ever want to be in all of our lives but being in the will of the Lord…so let us stay there in the place that the Lord desires and would have for us to be…and when He says move and or jump..and He keeps on and keeps on pulling at you…then by all means just let go and jump…even if it makes no sense…we just trust the Lord…and we trust Him at all times..Psalm 62:8/Proverbs 3:5..for we all know that Father knows best…I love this song that says this…”So keep your hand in the hand of the man that stilled the waters..and put your hand in the hand of the man who calmed the sea…take a look at yourself and you can look at others differently…by putting your hand in the hand of the man from Galilee”…so let us let Jesus take over and take over it all…In His name, Jesus’ name..Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
