I always think to my self about how others have it in their lives and what others have to face in their lives…and I know you all have probably heard this before but they say when you begin to feel sorry for yourself take a look around ya because their’s always someone in whom has it worse off than what you have…but as well I think life is really fast paced..and life goes past us all very quickly and sometimes we don’t even realize how quickly it goes…so each day we all should live our lives to the fullest..we all should enjoy where were at in our lives..and we all should take advantage of this gift of life that the Lord has given and blessed us with..for we all get older and like that famous quote that Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt had quoted that said this…Today is the oldest you’ve ever been and the youngest you’ll ever be…and isn’t that so very true…me, myself when I begin to maybe feel like I can’t do something..or kinda like I don’t want to do something..I always get really encouraged by my sweet little Myrtle…for she a women that is a fighter..and she has taught me that no matter what life gives you…you get through it and you move on..you don’t stay there on the problem or the situation that occurred or happened…but you pick yourself up and keep on moving forward…she is unlike any other person I have ever known…she wants to live and live her life to the fullest…she wants to go..she wants to volunteer…she so desires church…and shopping and family and friends…she loves gardening..she loves knitting…cooking and baking..but for my sweet Myrtle she is 95..so as we all know with age comes health issues and of course you slow down..your not able to do them things that you once were able to do…but for her, her mind is so alert and still so ready to live her life…even at her age she wants to go and do…she has such a way about her…she gets up every morning and gets herself dressed..and she puts on her necklace and her earrings.and her lovely makeup…she paints her beautiful nails…and she begins her day…even though she isn’t going anywhere..on some days..but she still takes care of herself and she lives her life…even if it’s lived on the inside of her home…she reads her paper….she laughs…she watches her favorite tv programs..so as far as her life to me it is a gift for me…to never give up in life…to always get up and get dressed and take care of what needs taken care of…to be appreciative of being able to do things…being able to drive…to walk…to enjoy your gardens…to enjoy your church…she as well has gone through a lot of things in these last couple of years that I’ve known her…but she never opens her mouth to complain or to give up…as I said she just gets over whatever is presented to her and she moves on…taking it one day at a time..and being ever so thankful for each day she has been given…she reminds of the scriptures in the bible in the book of Proverbs that says this…Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates…Proverbs 31:10-31…so my prayer for us all is this…I pray we never stop living our lives and living them to the fullest…always being content with the things in which we have…for the word says, that godliness with contentment is of a great gain…1 Timothy 6:6…and that we always get up no matter what life throws any of our ways…she always tells me, I never dreamed that I would ever live to be this old…all because of the things that she had faced and maybe faced in her life…because the devil always makes ya think that it’s the end…and that you won’t make it this time…and so for some they believe that lie…so they live their lives based on what happened and how they feel…never to just get up or as the scripture says, arise and take up your bed and walk…for many I honestly believe that the Lord is saying this to them…Arise and take up your bed and walk..John 5:8…Hallelujah..in other words don’t lay around in self pity…but get up and shake it all off from you…all of that doubt…all of that unbelief..and all of that so called I can’t mentality…when we know that the Lord says we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us..Philippians 4:13…Praise the Lord..for as a man thinks the word says, so is he..Proverbs 23:7..so we believe that we can….so I pray that we all live our lives as the saying goes as If it were are last day here on this earth…that we always are thankful…no matter what is happening or taking place…we always give God the highest praise that He alone so deserves…so some wait for their lives to be perfect before they ever begin to live their lives…but guys how many of ya know that none of us will ever have a perfect life…for we live in a fallen world…so let us enjoy where were at and enjoy everything that the good Lord above has blessed each of us with…for a heart of thankfulness always leads to a life of gratitude and happiness…so let us be a happy people for Jesus Christ our Lord…let us be thankful for all that He has done and let us take it one day at a time…doing the very best we can…In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen!!…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
