“The weeds!”

“This morning, as I had gone out to do some yard work, I noticed my neighbor in his tiny little garden space. Even with just a few things planted, every morning he is out there working in that garden pulling weeds, tying up plants, and doing all the things you have to do when you are keeping a watchful eye over the things you want to see grow. And in turn his garden is beautiful. Amen.

And I was reminded of the parable of the weeds. How the enemy came in the night while the man was sleeping and sowed tares among the wheat. And how the Lord told them to gather up the weeds, tie them up, and burn them, so then the wheat could be gathered. But He also spoke of how the mustard seed is the smallest seed, yet when it grows, it becomes the largest of the garden plants and becomes a tree. (Matthew 13:24-46). Amen.

But I guess what I am wanting to say to us all today is this: What are we growing in our lives, and how much is it growing? Is it growing as it should the things we have been praying for and waiting for? Or is it getting overtaken by the weeds of life? Or are we taking action daily by pulling up those weeds and tending the garden of our lives well? Amen.

Because it truly is something how you can go to bed with a clean house and somehow wake up needing to start all over again. Amen. So I want us all to be sure we are taking care of our lives, our families, and our friends doing the things we need to do to see a good harvest come forth. Amen.

I always like to say that it does not take much to see what kind of seeds people are sowing in their lives by the life they are living. Amen. Because we are sowing daily in all areas of our lives, and we do reap tomorrow what we sow today. (Galatians 6:7). Amen. It is just principle. Amen.

My Anthony went home to West Virginia today to see his Mawmaw and Pawpaw. He worked his seven-day, twelve-hour shifts, got off last night, and still got up this morning, packed his truck, and took off to do the needful thing in life. Amen. The things that some put off, he chose to rise above how he felt and chose the good thing. He chose family. Amen. He chose to sow good seeds in his heart, but also in theirs. Praise the Lord.

For the Bible speaks very clearly about taking care of your elderly and honoring your parents. Amen. It says we will live a long life in doing so. Amen. And it is also our sacred duty. (1 Timothy 5:4-8, Ephesians 6:1-3, and Deuteronomy 5:16). Hallelujah.

So yes, we sow in our lives. We keep those weeds pulled up when we begin seeing things that need to go things that are not producing anything good in our lives, things that take away from us and steal from our lives.

So let us stay with our eyes wide open, doing the good things in life doing the things that in return help us live a good life, a happy life, a productive life, and a joyful life. Amen.

Because we are sowing something, regardless of what that something is. And I pray we all are sowing well, and in return, Hallelujah, we will reap well. Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
