“We all seem to magnify our lives. We magnify the problems, we magnify the circumstances, we magnify the negative, and we magnify the “what ifs” in our lives. Daily, we seem to magnify the worst of things more so than the best of things. Amen.
We seem to focus on the bad side of things more than believing for the good. Amen. And that affects us in more ways than one. It destroys our confidence, takes away from the day we’ve been blessed with, and causes us to drift into a mindset that is not truthful, to say the least. Amen.
Because we already know that as a man thinks, so is he. Amen. And where the mind goes, the man follows. Amen. So I consider all of that and how crucial it is that we dwell on the good, that we exalt and lift up all the good that is present in our lives. Amen.
But one thing I pray we never forget is the Lord. Amen. Because here’s the thing: the Bible says to us, “Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together” (Psalm 34:3). Amen.
And what happens when we decide to magnify the Lord? Well, the Bible says that in God’s presence there is fullness of joy, and at His right hand there are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). Amen.
And what is joy to us? Well, it says that “the joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). Amen. And strength has such a powerful meaning to it. In Hebrew, it is the word “maoz,” which means a fortress, a refuge, and a safe haven. It means that we can rest securely in God’s grace. Amen.
So when we exalt God, lift Him up, and humble ourselves, God in return lifts us up and grows us (James 4:10). Amen. Because when we honor Him as Savior and recognize that He has all authority, then we have no time to magnify anything else in our lives especially the bad side of life.
For we keep ourselves grounded by doing what the Word of God says: loving the Lord more than anything, lifting His name above all others, and letting His praise continually be on our lips, giving honor solely to Him and all of who He alone is to us and for us. Amen.
For life is not always fair, nor is it always fun. Many times we face seasons that seem unreal and wonder how we’re going to make it through. But somehow, some way, we always seem to get to the other side of it all with more grace, dignity, and anointing than ever before. Somehow, we see more clearly after a storm or a hard season in life.
Sometimes life happens in ways we could never imagine. Sometimes we fail. And sometimes we magnify our own sins and failures. But I will leave us all with this: our righteousness is as filthy rags. It is only God and what He has done that makes us worthy of anything in life. And we are loved, we are equipped, and we are covered. Amen.
So today I will ask of us all: “Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” Amen.
For when the praises go up, God’s blessings come down and shower over us, His children. Amen. For we are more than enough through Jesus Christ and all of who He alone is. Amen.
So let us magnify the best thing we can in our lives, and that is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Let us love Him and adore Him above all else. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
