“Just keeping close to the Lord and abiding in Him is the key to our victories in life..for you see apart from Him we cannot do much of anything honestly except for maybe get ourselves into trouble and usually a big ole mess..Amen..for we think we are abiding because things are going well..we seem to have it all together..everything seems to be running smoothly so we kinda of maybe just a little begin drifting from the Lord in our prayer lives..in our asking of Him what to do in our lives..to really just being with Him and being in His presence..Amen..for the Lord says two things that we are..the first is He says we are the light of the world..Matthew 5:14-16..and He says to us that we are the branches..and that He is the true vine..Amen..and that we are to abide in Him..John 15:1-11..so why would the Lord say these two things to us?..well, because light repels darkness..and light brings forth goodness..it helps people to see..Amen!”

“And it helps them to come into the saving knowledge of Christ and Him crucified..Amen..and if we are not abiding in the Lord then we are not being very good lights for the Lord..because our lights will dim down very lowly when we are not abiding in Christ..and then we’re not very productive for Him..and we are not producing fruit that good fruit in our lives..and the Lord says that every branch that does not bare fruit He gets rid of it..and every branch that does bare fruit He purges it..Amen..so those two things they may sound super easy to do right?..but really there not easy to do..for we have to guard our hearts..we have to guard our minds..we have to be intentional to abide in the Lord and to walk in His light..and to be light for Him..Amen..because self and sin they rise up quickly..and they as well are always trying to pull us away from everything that is good and right..for you see that ole devil knows that if were in the light there is no darkness there..Amen..and if we’re in the Lord abiding in Him..there we get everything it is that were needing from the Lord..so this ole world tries to pull us away..tries to get us to do our own thing..tries to get us distracted..or just think well were better then the next person we don’t need to pray every day..we don’t need to read our bibles..surely we don’t have to go to church..because we’re good!..Amen!”

“And we think we are there and we have arrived..or will say well Jesus knows that I am busy..that I don’t really have time..He knows my heart..right?..those are the things that come to us to get us to not abide..to not pray..to really just settling for the less other than all the more the Lord has for us..so once again we are to be light and we are to abide..for we are the branches..and the Lord is the true vine..so without Him..our lives will fall apart..we will not be fruitful..and we will not multiply as we should be..just as the Lord always intended for us to be..so stay abiding..and let your light shine before men as the word says that others may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in whom is in heaven..Matthew 5:16..Amen!!..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤
