“So in the bible it says that the last will be first and the first shall be last..Matthew 20:16..and this rang ever so true for me 6 years ago today..I was the first to be called when I received the most dreadful phone call..the one that no one wants..Amen..and on the other end was my dads wife..and she goes on to telling me that my daddy, David, had a heart attack..and I say to her he’ll be okay..dad is strong..Amen..but of course she comes back and says to me, Mandi, your daddy is gone..Amen..so every bit of who I was in the moment just collapsed..there in that moment..and I couldn’t say anything to her..other then I have to go..and so I call my mommy, Iris, and I say mom..dad is gone..and it was horrible guys..because there is never enough time in life..we all think that we have time..and things just aren’t gonna happen..or we just think it’ll be later than sooner..but then there it is smack dap in your face..and it shreds your heart from one end to the other..and emotions and feelings are everywhere..there are stages to grief..and they go from happy..to sad..to mad..to literally everywhere in between..Amen!”

“And my dad was a great man..Amen..and I wish a thousand times over..and even now I still pray to the Lord and I tell Him Father I sure wish you would’ve given me more time with my daddy..Amen..but there just is no do overs..there is no let me make it right..it’s just when it’s over it’s over guys..Amen..so yes we all know the saying that says love a little harder..have the hard conversations..whatever is there that you wanna say just say it..Amen..forgive and forget..and in the end just simply have no regrets in your life..for this year we all know people whom have lost so many..and suddenly so..Amen..so it should open our eyes to knowing that we as well are not exempt from death coming and knocking on our doors of life..because the bible says that our lives are nothing more than a vapor..we are here one moment and then gone..James 4:14..Amen..so I pray we live well with our lives..and I pray we love people..and we live as if today were our last day here in this world..because this life is temporal but heaven that is eternal..for heaven is our forever home..and one day we all will be reunited with our loved ones..and what a day most wonderful and glorious day that is going to be..Praise the Lord..so live well I do pray..and love without any regrets..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
