“Why is it the things that we know we shouldn’t do are the very things we end up doing?..Amen..we know we shouldn’t go certain places but yet we find ourselves there in those places..we know we shouldn’t look at certain things but yet once again we find ourselves looking at those things…we know we shouldn’t be saying certain things..but there we are just saying everything under the sun that never should be coming forth from our mouths..we know we shouldn’t talk behind others backs but there we are talking behind there backs so to speak..we know those things that we shouldn’t be doing..and yet we always seem to find ourselves right back there at the very place that we prayed and cried so hard over..and I keep asking the Lord..how does this happen?..what causes us to turn back to sinful, selfish desires and ways?..because we know we are saved and going to heaven..but is it because we live in a sin filled world?..or is it because we have’t yet stepped over into our resurrected and purified bodies?..because when the Lord says to pick up your cross and follow Him and daily so..Matthew 16:24-26..it is because the Lord knows we need it..Amen..He knows we need to be praying at all times..1 Thessalonians 5:17..He knows we have to stay close to Him..because I am reminded of the scripture in the word of God that says..”I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do..Romans 7:15..and then further down in verse 19 it says this..”For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do, this I keep on doing..Romans 7:19..Amen..so it all lies once again in our choices..in our prayer lives..in our obedience..in our choosing..and once again daily and I mean daily so..for sin is here in this world..it’s everywhere around us..and so we have to be very mindful of those things that we are doing..everything that we choose to do..because once again everything we do it matters and matters greatly..because it is a ripple effect..if we let one thing slide..before long another one comes along..and then another one..and we begin to compromise who we are..what we stand for..and what we believe in..because we don’t get by with our actions..even if we get by with people..we never get by with it..with Christ..that’s why the Lord tells us that I look not as a man looks at you..for they will look at you on the outside..but I look at the heart..1 Samuel 16:7..I look at the inside..Amen..so we shouldn’t care so much as to cleaning up as the word says the outside of the cup..but much rather the inside of it..Amen..for it’s what’s on the inside that defiles the man..not what’s on the outside..for what’s on the inside always comes forth and shows up on the out..Matthew 23:25-26/Luke 11:39..Amen..so let us please the Lord with who we are..making sure that He alone is pleased with us..and let us never forget that it is all about Jesus..nothing to do with anyone else..other than our Lord..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
