“I think about these past few weeks and the stories I’ve either read about..or watched as documentaries..and they have really changed the way I look at others..but pretty much the stories have been the same type of stories..about preachers..evangelist..and even Christian comedians..at how they would get up and do their shows..make people laugh..help hurting people..how many would come and give their lives to Jesus..and at how they themselves would go back to their motel room..or go back to their tour buses only to fall down and cry themselves to sleep..not being able to help their ownselves..but they said here I was helping others to go on in their lives but all the while I couldn’t help myself go on with my own..helping others to laugh and enjoy their lives..all the while not being able to laugh or help myself to enjoy my own life..they lived their lives full of depression..and much anxiety and worry..all the while still being able to go forth and spread and share the gospel of Christ..that to me is amazing..Amen..but as well that to me is the saddest thing ever..I always say everyone is facing something in life..and a smile has a lot behind it..Amen..because none of us can truly look at the life of someone else and know just what they’re facing or what they’re going through..they say to be kinder than necessary and always so..Amen..in my Sunday school class this morning..that is what I was talking with the young ladies about..I said to them what does a hurting or sick person look like?..what does a depressed person look like?..what does a fearful person look like?..Amen..because guys really we think we know but we honestly don’t know..I believe that’s why God says to love your neighbor as yourself..Amen..I believe that’s why God says to turn the other cheek..go the extra mile..to give to everyone who would ask of you..I believe it’s because God knows that His children are going to battle down here on this earth..and God knows that we all need one another..that’s why He tells us not to judge..Amen..see that is His job..not ours..but He does want us to love..and love everybody..I told them, young ladies, this morning..that if they can win in the love department of their lives..then they’ve won everything..because love is the greatest thing ever guys..the best thing about anything that we do or ever say..it is our love that covers..that extends hugs..that sits quietly and listens to the hurt that someone is facing..see love is the key to it all..because God is love..1 John 4:7-21..so pay attention to them ones in whom are around you..and instead of always feeling the need to speak your mind or give your opinion..how about just listening and loving instead..being a friend and true blue one at that..knowing that we don’t know what people go through..because as I said there is a lot that is hidden behind smiles..and people can wear mask ever so good..but just leave your judgment and opinion at the door..and just give them Jesus..and give them your undivided attention..because rarely do people acutally open up and share the true them.. the true life that they live..the true hurts and pains..the true dissapooniments..rarely do really any of us really know another and their life..so be the best you can be for Jesus..love them as Jesus would..care for them..help them if it is in your power to do so..I love this saying or quote that says this..a wise physician once said..the best medicine for humans is love..someone asked what if that doesn’t work?..the physician said to make sure to increase the dose..Amen..so the Lord says this to us His children..”Love the Lord our God with all our hearts, all our souls, and with all our mind..This is the first and great commandment..and the second is like, unto it, We are to love our neighbor as ourselves..on these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets..Matthew 22:37-40..so the Lord takes our love very serious..the love we give to Him and the love we give to others..so my prayer and my heart is that we all are not just loving few..not just loving them that love us..but that we are loving all..Amen..that we are being the hands and feet of Jesus..that we are making a difference into the lives of the ones in whom we are around..for love goes a long way..and love is where it’s at..Amen..and we are never more like our Father than when we are loving His children..so let us love like never before..for we all need love..and lots of it..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
