“So today in my Sunday school class we ended up talking about Cain & Abel..wasn’t even the lesson but somehow we ended up there in the book of Genesis..and we were discussing the very fact of how the Lord accepted Abel’s offering unto Him..but Cain’s He did not..the word said that He had respect for Abel’s offering but not Cain’s..Amen..and my thoughts were simply this..at how both were brought before the Lord and at how I’m sure they both were great offerings..Amen..but my very thoughts were found in the book of Psalms at how the Lord knows when we rise and when we sit down..and at how the Lord knows our thoughts from afar off..Amen..Psalm 139:2..so of course that is how I take that story from the word of God..because somehow I think in my mind that Abel gave His very best to the Lord our God..and at how Cain somehow may have brought his best before the Lord but it was I think the intent of his heart that displeased the Lord our God..Amen..Genesis 4:1-26..at how the Lord looks at our hearts..for the word says that God does not look at the outward appearance but that He looks at our hearts..Amen..1 Samuel 16:7..and I wonder to myself at us and our lives..we may do all the right things..we may even say all the right things..Amen..but guys let me say that if our hearts and our attitudes are wrong..and our motive behind it all is wrong..God sees that..Amen..God knows..for you see..some I think forget that it’s all about God..our lives..everything..Amen..it’s not about people..it’s not about what they think..what they’re doing and so forth..but it’s about us..and what we’re doing..Amen..and what were saying..and at how were lining up on the inside as well as what we’re trying to show on the outside..Amen..for I will be the very first to say..excuse my grammer for a moment..but God our Father does not like ugly..and if you are being ugly on the inside..it’s time now to be reconicled to Christ..it’s time to ask of the Lord for forgivness..and for His help..for only Christ can help us..when we take time to notice who we really are on the inside..the way we think..the way we let our minds wonder and go..the way we talk about others in our minds..Amen..the way we roll our eyes in our minds towards others..guys every bit of that is just ugly..and downright ugly at that..I think a whole lot of times that others may move forward in their lives and calling because God knows their ready..Amen..while others are still wondering around doing the same things..because of their so-called bad thinking..Amen..so don’t be that person..don’t be one way in your living..as to where you are literally doing everything right on the outside..but live a totally different way on the inside..for as I said God isn’t so pleased with what your doing as to what your thinking..as to being made right all the way around in your life..not only on the outside but as well on the inside..Amen..for I love the scripture in the word of God that says..For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ..Galatians 1:10..Amen..so let each of us ask ourselves..who are we pleasing?..are we living to please people more so than pleasing God?..that is the question that I would love for us all to ponder upon and ask ourselves..Amen..for once again this life and the life were living is all about Jesus..not at all anything to do with me or you..but it’s everything to do with Him and who He is..being His hands and His feet..living a life totally pleasing to Him and Him alone..that is the goal and should be the goal for us all..and once again that is a daily process..and that is a daily denying of ourselves and picking up our crosses and following the Lord our God..Matthew 16:24-26..reconciled completley to Him and who He is..In His name, Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
