“I think a whole lot of times we fall away..get distracted and lose sight of everything it is that we’re doing all because we honestly did not take the time to pray and seek the Lord’s face..for it is only through our prayer time that we gain strength, wisdom, guidance, peace and all of them other great and wonderful attributes it is that we need from our Lord..Amen..them fruits of the spirit..Galatians 5:22-23..even the Lord tells us in His word to watch and pray that we enter not into temptation..Matthew 26:41..Amen..He tells us to pray continually for that is His will concerning each of us..1 Thessalonians 5:17..and I wonder why the Lord would literally command this from us?..Amen..Well, we all should know the answer to that..because for starters..we live in an evil and fallen world..and it is rampant all around us and daily so..daily we are drawn and pulled in many different directions..the ole enemy is constantly and continually on the warpath for us and our very soul..Amen..he wants us to lose our witness for Christ..he wants us to get discouraged and give up and completely give in..Amen..he wants us to begin compromising who we are for Jesus..he wants us to begin speaking, acting and totally living like the world does..Amen..but guys let me say something to us all..when we take time to pray..and when we take time to seek the Lord and His face..and we bask there in the Almighty’s presence then we not only change on the inside..but as well it radiates on the outside..others will know that we’ve been with the Lord..for you see prayer not only changes our situations that we may be in and are facing..but as well prayer changes us and who we are for Jesus..so tonight take time to consider spending a few moments there in the Lord’s presence..take time to talk with Jesus..tell Him as the song sings and as the song says..tell Him all about your troubles..for it says He will hear your faintest cry and He will answer by and by..for you see the Lord is always there..and the Lord is always listening for His childs voice speaking to Him..for it says that God inhabits the praises of His people..Psalm 22:3..so know that He says you call to me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things you know not..Jeremiah 33:3..for prayer is ever so important..it is the most important thing we can ever do for ourselves and our lives..for prayer is the key to every victory in our lives..for prayer is that thing that takes us and ushers us into the Lord’s presence for it says to us..Let us therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need..Hebrews 4:16..Amen..and we all have needs..and we all have problems..and we all are seeking answers for our lives..and we find them and we do find them and will obtain them on our knees in much prayer unto our Father..so let us give it all to Jesus tonight..let us let go of our thoughts about it all..and let us seek the Lord and His face..as scripture says while He still can be found..Isaiah 55:6..what a gift and what a privilege we’ve been given..so never disregard it..but always take time and make time to simply pray..always taking time and making time to seek the Lord’s face about everything in your life..and then rest and be still and know that He is working..and working it all together for our good..Romans 8:28..because we serve a good God..and guys yes He is good all the time..so let us love Him..let us praise Him..and let us always give it to Him..our every need..our every care..our every problem..for alone is our all in all..In His name, Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
