“Today after church I was heading upstairs to help teach the 8th-grade girls class..and I was pretty much just following the other folks in front of me..only to realize that I was heading in the wrong direction..I was on the stairs going down..and I wasn’t even supposed to be on them stairs heading down..I was supposed to be on the other set of stairs heading up..Amen..and in that moment when I realized what I was doing..the Lord begins to speak to me that He is the only way to the Father..Amen..because yes I may have gotten a little bit of course this morning heading to class and that would’ve been okay..you know..because I could’ve easily just turned around as I did and went back..but guys how many of ya know that when following Jesus and going His way which is the only way..we can’t afford ever to get off course..or get off track..and not pay attention to what we’re doing or what way we’re going in our lives..Amen..because it’s one thing to be heading the wrong direction in general so to speak..but to be heading the wrong way with our souls..taking risk with our salvation..not knowing really if we were to die at this moment that we are on course with Christ..that in and of itself is the most scary aspect of our lives..for some may say that once in grace always in grace..but you know as well as I do you can’t live like the devil and somehow think that is living in the grace of God..Amen..because the word says that we are to be different..we are to be set apart..we are to be that city set on hill that cannot be hidden..it says do men light a candle and put it under a bushel?..no..but they put it on a candlestick so that others may see and come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ..Matthew 5:15/Luke 11:33..Amen..in other words we are them vessels that draw others by the life we’re living..we are representing our Father in whom is in heaven..Amen..see the Lord says that the old man is gone..behold the new one has come forth..2 Corinthians 5:17..so guys we should never use God’s grace to willfully sin and disobey in our lives..it says how shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?..Romans 6:1-2..Amen..so know that your name is written down in the Lamb’s book of life..Amen..for you see heaven is one place none of us ever want miss..Amen..so let us know that we know that were following hard after Jesus..Amen..for He says in John that I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me…John 14:6..cause guys the word says that whatsover way the tree falls that is the way it will go..Ecclesiastes 11:3..Amen..and as well it says that the righteous are scarcely saved..1 Peter 4:18-19..that is a literal eye opener for me..but the one scripture that really gets me..is the one that says many are gonna stand before the Lord and He is going to say unto them depart from me ye that work iniquity for I never knew you..Matthew 7:21-23..so my question to us all are we walking with Christ?..are we honoring Him more so than man?..are we living for the Lord’s approval or mans approval?..because guys the number one relationship that we all should have is with the Lord Jesus..cause we will stand one day before Him..and when we do I pray that we all hear well done my good and faithful servant for you have been faithful over little I am gonna make you ruler over much enter thou into the presence of the Lord..Matthew 25:21-23..Amen..and what a magnificent day that is going to be..Amen..for most nowadays don’t even know how to pray..and for most they never pray..but how can you or I or even them ever be in a committed and faithful relationship with Christ if we never take the time to pray and talk with the Lord..and I do know that sometimes there are exceptions with some people..but praying should be as easy as breathing..prayer should be that thing that we do all the day long..for when we get to heaven I pray we all are able to stand before our Lord spotless..complete and whole..knowing that we know Him..and His presence..and He knows us and ours..Amen..so be ready for the Lord..be ready for His coming..quit murmuring..quit complaining..quit making excuses..but just live for Him..live a life to please Him and Him alone..Amen..for it says that He is going to come like a thief in the night..1 Thessalonians 5:2..so let us be watchful..and let us all be mindful..not ever letting that door shut..knowing that once it does it can never be opened again..so heaven guys..please don’t miss it for anything in all of this world..that’s my heart and that’s my prayer..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
