“Our society nowadays seems to always proclaim to us that we are to be like the world..that we are to be self-absorbed..we are to be self-centered only to be worried about ourselves..we are to pamper oursleves..endulge ourselves..because after all aren’t we worth it?..and really the list for these acclamations can honestly go on and on..for that is what society in and of itself is preaching to us..they preach this through the internet..through the television..through self-help books..and on and on it goes proclaiming to us that we are to take care of us..Amen..and really guys don’t ever get me wrong here we should take care of ourselves..because if we’re not whole in and of ourselves then were not able to help others..but we must be very careful and draw a very thin line when it comes to this..Amen..because if not we will begin to be self-absorbed children of God..and that was never the Lord’s desire for any of us..Amen..because even the Lord our God came to this earth to serve and not to be served..Matthew 20:28/Mark 10:45..Amen..for you see in the word of God King Solomon had it all..he did it all..Amen..and he’s only conclusion was that it all was vanity of vanities..Ecclesiastes 1:2..Amen..in other words it all was meaningless..Amen..because the Lord tells us in the gospel of Matthew that we are to ‘DENY OURSELVES’!!! Amen..and we are to do what?..we are to take up our cross and follow the Lord..Amen..Matthew 16:24…and by picking up our cross and following the Lord we will and we should be all about others..Amen..we should be looking and thinking of ways to bless others..Amen..we should always be kind..caring and compassionate..to every single person it is that we come in contact with..because then and only then will we be about our Fathers business..just as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was..Amen..for it was not ever about Him..and He never made it about Him..through it all..He still chose obedience unto our Father..did He have to?..probably not..I don’t think the Lord would have turned Him away if chose not to follow and obey..but He chose anyhow..He knew that there was this bigger picture..and that it had to be fulfilled..and I don’t know about you but am I ever so glad and thankful that Jesus choose to follow and choose to obey..regardless of how He felt..what He went through He still choose to obey even unto death on the cross for you and for me..Hallelujah..so let me say to us all..you wanna make a difference in your life that you live?..you wanna change them ones in whom your around?..you wanna be truly and honestly about our Fathers work that He has for us all?..then we must take our eyes off of us..and we must become selfless beings for our Father in whom is in heaven..Amen..we must take care and consider others and their lives and what their facing and going through..we must pray for them..lift them up..and help them along the way..blessing them and encouraging them with everything that is within us..because as I said we can become self-absorbed and that is one thing we never, ever want to do or ever become as being named children of the most high God..so give away to others what Christ has blessed you with..be a blessing always..be selfless in everything..always looking at the actions..and the intent of your heart..Amen..for in doing so you will help to change your world in which you live..and you will be able to help change the lives of them ones that are around you..making a difference and shining the light of Jesus..Amen..cause when each of us consider others more so than we consider ourselves then we are never more like our Father..and that is the goal..that others look upon us and that they see Him..and Him alone..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
