“This past week for me since being sick and being at home has been very quiet and very peaceful for me..and I tell ya even though I’ve been sick it as well has been so very refreshing for me to slow down and take my time and rest in the Lord’s presence..it’s funny at how much we miss when we’re so busy with life..or how much we lose from spending time with the Lord as we should by our busy and crazy hectic lives we all seem to live nowadays..but it is ever so good for our souls when we have quiet time..and I mean total quiet time..no tv on..no lights on..just quiteness..for me they are the best times..I just literally will walk our home and go from room to room..and as I do I am talking with Jesus..and I am remembering things that maybe I had forgotten..and I just begin to thank Him..and love Him..and not from a rushed stand point..or from one as to where I’m trying to hurry and fit Him into my sehedule..but literally from one as to where there are no places that I have to be..there is nowhere someone is expecting me..so I take my time and I sit there or walk there with our Father..and get refilled..and get refreshed..because Jesus tells us in His word to, “Come away with Him..and to let us go alone to a quiet place and rest for a while..Mark 6:31..Amen..for the Lord tells us in Psalms 46:10..for us to be still and know that He is God..Amen..because guys when we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness the word says that all of these other things will be added unto us..Matthew 6:33..and that when we delight ourselves in the Lord that He gives us our hearts desires..Psalm 37:4..for you see prayer time and quiet time alone with our Lord does complete wonders for us and who we are as His children..Amen..it takes us into the presence of the Almighty where we recognize Him for who He is..Amen..which is complete Majesty…Hallelujah..in John, it says that God is the vine and we are the branches..and that if we remain in the Lord and abide in Him we will bare much fruit..but it says apart from Him we can do nothing..John 15:5..so I know for me this past week I have had so much time to be with the Lord..like I used to have when I was in the truck with my hubby..and I forget just how much I loved and enjoyed my quiet time alone with Jesus..cause it’s in His presence that everything changes..and that I change..and I grow and I hear Him speak to me like never before..cause when my world is loud..it’s kind of hard to here like you hear and are able to hear when it’s quiet..so today I pray that no matter how super busy our lives get that either way..we find a place..to just be still before the Lord..not to be rushed..and not to place Him on our time table of life..but literally to be still before Him and give Him alone all of our time and attention..no matter how long it takes..that somehow we make it happen for our lives..for we are in control of it..no one else..so if that means getting up a little earlier..or going to be bed a little earlier..or just going someplace to where you know it’ll be just you and Jesus..then by all means let’s make that happen..for it is our bread and our water for our weary and thirsty souls..for without it we just can’t make it..but with it..it honestly is amazing the things we can do and accomplish in our lives and in our worlds for Jesus Christ our Lord..Amen..I love the song that says..”How long has it been since you’ve talked with the Lord and told Him your hearts hidden secrets?..how long since you’ve prayed?..how long since you’ve stayed on your knees till the light shone through?.how long has it been since your mind felt at ease?..how long since your heart knew no burden?..can you call him your friend?..how long has it been since you knew that he cared for you?..Amen..so my prayer for each of us in our lives is that we make Jesus our number one priority..that He is placed first always..and that we never forget to take that sweet precious quiet time and spend it only with Him..focused completely on Him and who He is to us..loving Him and staying there just a while abiding and living in His presence..for there is where that fullness of joy is found..Psalm 16:11..for our hearts, for our lives and for our worlds in which we live..In His name, Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
