I think we all kind of know others..and we know what they do and what they don’t do…I have my sweet little neighbors children..and they know when they come over to Miss Mandi’s home..or If I go over to their home that their gonna get a treat..so they look forward to it..and if they see me and I don’t have anything for them in my hands…they’ll come right out and ask me if I have them a treat…because they expect it out of me..in which case I do not mind whatsoever..but my point being and where I’m going with this is that just as others know us…that ole sly sneaky devil knows us..he knows what gets our goats..he knows what gets us going..he knows what shakes us up if you know what I mean..because that’s just who he is..so when he comes around he brings those things with him that he knows gets to us..them things that steals away from us rather than add to us and our lives..he brings them things that gets us mad, angry, upset…crying.confused..and so forth..but as well we know when that ole devil is trying to use them certain things to get to us..so what do we do when we know just what it is that is happening and taking place..do we grab ahold of that bait that he keeps bringing our way to rob from us and our day and life?…absolutely not!..we do not grab that ole bait..but rather we shake that ole stuff off from us..we don’t entertain it..and we don’t mess around with it..because when we do nothing good ever, and I mean ever comes from it..so the thing is this..the Lord says that He has made us wiser than the enemy..Psalm 119:98..so when things begin to happen and or occur in our life..and we know where it’s coming from…we get up and we refuse to let ourselves go there to that place again..Amen..and we remind ourselves that we have already been there and done that and that we are not going there again..and we remind ourselves that greater is He that is within us then he that is within this world..1 John 4:4..so we pray..and we trust and we lean on the Lord..we do not have to entertain every thought or every conversation that tries to come our way..because the word of God says that the Lord came to give us life and life more abundantly..but that ole devil he comes to kill, steal and to destroy..John 10:10…and he has stolen a whole lot from us all..and he will continue to do so until we refuse to give up grounding..because our lives have been built on Jesus Christ our Lord..for the bible says…Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you…Luke 10:19…so you don’t play around and or mess around with that ole devil and his ole schemes and tactics that he tries to bring on you and your life..for God is not the God of confusion but He is the God of peace..1 Corinthians 14:33..and the word says as much that lies in you to live peaceably with all men..Romans 12:18..Amen..and as well whatsoever things are lovely and whatsoever  things are of a good report if there be any virtue or praise for us to think on them things..Philippians 4:8..so we must guard our lives…guard our homes..guard our minds..guard everything and daily do so..and simply by all means refuse to let anyone or anything steal your joy or your peace…because the devil don’t come with big ole red horns…and some pitch fork so to speak..but he comes disguised as an angel of light…2 Corinthians 11:14..but the Lord says to us that we would know them by their fruit that they bare..Matthew 7:15-20..so pay attention not so much as to what others say…but rather pay attention to their actions..for guys yes…actions speak louder than words..don’t be deceived..and or manipulated…for even the devil knows the word of God…so be smart..be wise..and be one guard because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against the rulers of the darkness of this world..against spiritual wickedness in high places..so the Lord tells us to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil..Ephesians 6:11-12..so let us remain in the light as God is in the light and there is no shadow of turning in Him..James 1:17..living and walking always in the light of the Lord…Redeeming the time, because the days are evil the bible says…Ephesians 5:16..always being ready to meet our Maker, always being ready to live this ole world..and always being ready to give an account for the hope of glory that is in you..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
