So this morning as I was getting up, I kept smelling coffee..and I was thinking wow where in the world is that coffee coming from…and then I think well maybe Anthony made some..so I go on through the house smelling down this coffee smell..and into the kitchen I go and there is no coffee..and I think to myself that is so weird..because if any one knows me they know my love for coffee..so I go on through and all of sudden I smell that smell again..and it was coming from my trash can..lol..for I was taught when I was home to always keep the trash cans emptied..and especially before ending the day to take the trash out..not to leave it in the trash cans..but long story short…we had a long Thanksgiving weekend so the schedule for the trash services were different..so they picked it up two weeks in a row on different days..so of course the first week they did this I got it right and they picked up my trash..but this week they picked it up again on Monday..but I didn’t know that they were doing this, two weeks in a row..so I missed them getting my trash..but anyways, I didn’t have any room left in my can outside to be able to take out the trash last night, so it stayed in the house..because I didn’t want the lid on the can outside  to be pushed up for some animal to come by and feast and make a mess in our yard..so in the house it stayed..but praise the Lord the trash goes out tonight for us..so I’m very happy about that..but back to the moral of the story that smell wasn’t a smell in which I was used to smelling in the morning..but what I found to be amusing…is the fact that it smelled so good..but was coming from the trash can..and I begin to think about that ole devil and how he does God’s children..how he comes as everything that we ever wanted in life..how he disguises himself as being an angel of light..how he makes things smell so good to us..and at how he deceives and he comes to prey upon us..and daily he comes to do this..he comes making it all sound so good and look so good..and to the natural eye it would be great..but let me tell ya something guys…when we go in the spirit of God…and we go in the anointing of God we won’t be lead astray by falseness or falsehood…nor by deception or deceit…no matter how good it smells or sounds..we will know within ourselves that it is nothing more than garbage for us and our lives…so we won’t follow after it..for we will know that we know…for you see God says that His voice we will know and that the voice of a stranger we will not follow..John 10:5…and as well the Lord says that He has made us wiser than the enemy..Psalm 119:98..so today don’t go following every trend and every fab and every single thing that comes your way..but you go in faith..and go in truth…no matter how good it all sounds..you listen to that still small voice of the Lord speaking to you His child…for He is always speaking we just need to be still and listen..and don’t follow your heart for the heart the bible says is deceitful above all who can know it?..Jeremiah 17:9…but you go by facts..by knowledge…by wisdom and by the word of God..for Gods word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathways..Psalm 119:105..for when we get off course we as well get into a lot of trouble and a lot of mess..and none of us need that for our lives..so stay the course…run your race..and keep your eyes on Jesus..2 Timothy 4:7..because yes, the Lord He has a plan for your life and a great one at that..but as well that ole devil he does as well…so I pray we all are smart and wise as wise can be…and that we don’t get lead away by the things of this world trying to distract and pull us from the place that God would have for us to be…I love the song that Michael Combs sings…and it goes like this..”Well, If you’re living for Jesus, Friend, They’ll come a day when that old devil’s gonna try to get you some way. he’ll try you, And tempt you, with his lies straight from hell.
Just say I belong to Jesus, And devil I’m not for sale, no way, no sir. I belong to the Lamb Of God, He purchased me with his precious Blood,
I don’t need popularity, I’d rather have what he gave to me.
I belong to the King of Kings,
He’s my hope, He’s my joy, He’s my everything.
I belong to the Lord God Almighty,
I belong to the one who gave his life for me.
Some sold conviction’s for compromise,
Some have sold the truth for a pack of lies.
Some have sold testimonies for fortune and fame.
But I just want to Glorify and Magnify his name..For This heart belongs to Jesus, He saved my soul from hell. This heart belongs to Jesus, Oh and this heart, this heart…is not for sale..Hallelujah…so today and everyday that follows don’t ever compromise when serving the Lord..but follow Him..and follow Him and His ways…for no they don’t sometimes make since the way the Lord leads..but remember guys..Gods ways are not our ways..His ways and His thoughts are much higher and greater than ours..Isaiah 55:9..so let us know that we know that we are following the leading and the guiding of the Lord…that were not being drawn away by a bunch of trash that looks and maybe smells so good..don’t be deceived…but pray and ask for discernment for the Lord will give it to you..for He will never lead you nor  I in the wrong way..for the word of God says…Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it…Matthew 7:13-14..so let us follow life..and let us all keep it and find it..for Jesus Christ He is the way, the truth and our life..John 14:6..Praise the Lord…In Jesus’ name,  I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
