Church this morning was fabulous..the children did a Christmas play…titled Isaiah Jones and the seekers of the lost Christmas treasures..long story short they were seeking Jesus…for He was that light and treasure they were looking for…and as well they showed in reference that to really be after the light and to be living and breathing in the light of the Lord so to speak..it comes when we take what we have been given and we give it away…for Christmas is a time of giving and sharing..I know we give and share all year round..but when it comes to Christmas and the true meaning of it..and we realize that we are to be like Christ Jesus our Lord..for there is no one that gave and has given all as our Lord and Savior Jesus did..for He came into the world to save the world..John 3;17…Praise the Lord…and when we abide in seeking after the light and living our lives in the light of the Lord..Ephesians 5:8…we will live a beautiful and magnificent life..for God is light and in Him there is no darkness..1 John 1:5…Praise His name…so today let us look towards the light of the Lord..for everything that we may have need of..and today if your thirsty and or if your hungry..then seek out that bread from heaven..John 6:32..seek out from the Lord that well that never runs dry..John 4:14…for Jesus has everything that any of us will ever need or ever so desire in all of our lives..for the scripture says this when speaking for us to know the true meaning of Christmas it says..”For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”…Isaiah 9:6..for it goes on to say this to us…Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS..Matthew 1:18-25…and it goes on telling us more about the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as it says…And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men..And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told to them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them..Luke 2:9-20…so this Christmas season it is upon us all..but as we hustle and bustle around in our busy lives..I pray none of us ever forget the true meaning Christmas…for “Jesus” is the reason for the season..let us not forget!..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
