I love the quote that was written by the famous and yet so clever Helen Keller that says this…”Keep your face towards the sun and you cannot see the shadows!”…and how so true is that…because when we focus our attention spiritually speaking here on the SON..and we keep our face towards Him..than as well we don’t see the shadows..for the bible says that in the Lords presence there is no darkness for God is light and in Him is no darkness..1 John 1:5..and as well the scripture says that in heaven there is no night there, and that will have no need for a candle there..for the Lord our God gives the light that will need..Revelation 22:5..but today I’m considering and thinking in terms of our lives and at how we choose to view them and at how our attitude concerning it all means everything.. when I think of that quote I always think that when we do keep ourselves looking towards the Lord we as well seem to be more positive..when we spend time with Jesus and in His presence…it’s amazing at how we will be more positive with how we choose to view whatever situation it is that were dealing with at that moment in our life..for a person in whom spends time with Jesus always seems to be on the side of looking at the glass half full in stead of half empty..the person always seems to have a good attitude about life..and about anything really it is that they’re dealing with..for it’s easy to get negative in life..for life gives us all a lot to be negative about..but when we choose to be more like the Lord..and we choose to be that light for Jesus..and we choose to speak and live our life always looking into His face, keeping our eyes always on Him..we will live and all of us will live a better and more peaceful life..for in Gods presence there is fullness of joy..Psalm 16:11…and we know that we can’t slip with our thoughts and them things in which we choose to think about..for when we let our minds take over we more than likely end up getting to a place that’s not a very nice or pretty place to say the least..because our minds are the battlefield guys..so we have to know that and when we get to having a wondering not so positive filled mind and life..we need to get ourselves up and shake off all that stuff and all that junk that the ole devil tries to put on us and throw on us…that’s why the scripture tells us to think on things that are true, things that are honest, things that are just, things that are pure, things that are lovely, and things that are of good report; it says that if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, for us to think on these things..Philippians 4:8…for that ole devil surely doesn’t know what to do with a person that thinks all of that good stuff..all of them things that God would have for us to think on ..for we know that as a man thinks so is he..Proverbs 23:7…cause see when we keep ourselves in Gods presence, we will know that we know that He is hearing and that He is listening..so in return we know we have nothing to worry over and nothing to fret ourselves about…that’s why in the book of Colossians chapter 3 and verse 2 tells us to set our affections on the things above, and not on the things of this earth..so we let go and we let God take over it all..we let go of them reigns that we all maybe are holding onto really tightly..and we give our burdens and our problems to Jesus..and as we do we trust what the word says and what Gods says to us in His word concerning His yoke and His burden…for the Lord says come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light…Matthew 11:28-30..so when we come to Him and we deny ourselves and our ways and our thoughts about it all and we simply let go and trust the Lord..we will find rest..and we will find peace..and we will live a positive, happy and faith filled life…but we must always remember to keep ourselves looking towards the “SON”…which is Jesus Christ our Lord…for darkness is always lurking guys on every corner, and is always trying to get us distracted, discouraged and defeated…but we must always choose to stay close to the Lord..and always choose to look to Him…for Jesus always takes care of it all..I love this song that says this…Now let us have a little talk with Jesus..let us tell Him all about our troubles..He will hear our faintest cry..and He will answer by and by..now when you feel a little prayer wheel turnin’..then you know a little fire is burnin’..just a little talk with Jesus makes it right…for only the Lord changes us and our lives..and only the Lord brings a calm and a peaceful assurance to it all..and in return we are and will be living that sunshine filled life..for this is what the word says..This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin…1 John 1:5-7…and guys there is no other place that any of us should ever desire to be in all of our lives other then walking and living our lives in the light of the Lord…keeping and fixing our eyes on the author and the finisher of our faith, which is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior..who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God…Hebrews 12:2..Let us all praise His name..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
