That mouth of ours can honestly get us into trouble..and sometimes without even knowing that it can…we say stuff and we tell people things and in which case in the midst of the telling it goes from one person to the next and the story gets twisted all around..and must of the time just by adding one little word can change the whole point of the story in which you told to how the next person tells it..or even if were talking with someone..and we just begin to ramble..and we go on and on telling things that really we shouldn’t even be telling..and for me I have done it before..I can be saying something to someone..and the Lord literally hush me..and tell me to stop talking..so in the midst of this conversation..I end up having to be quiet..and not say anything at all…for words are the most useful things we have in our lives..but as well..they can be the most hurtful things that we have in our lives…words can do damage..and sometimes the damage is unrepairable…for words cut way down deep into our souls..and they literally can affect us and sometimes they do affect us for the rest of our lives…they can bring guilt…shame…words can bring torment…they can bring peoples lives into living their lives in fear…they can bring such a complex to where they live their lives never feeling good enough or even pretty enough..always seeming that theres something wrong with them…and words nowadays…they do get thrown around in all directions…people use them just to say things and really not meaning what their saying..and love is the big one that some just throw around in all directions…but what I guess I’m trying to say here guys..is pay attention to what your saying..and make sure that it is edifying and lifting others up if your speaking about others..and make sure that what you say is something that you in turn would like for someone else to be speaking about you…for we can make a person or we can break them way down all by the things in which we choose ourselves to speak out from our mouths..the bible says this about our mouths…for one it says, that death and life are in the power of our tongues and they that love it will eat the fruit thereof…Proverbs 18:21…it says that our tongues are the littlest members of our bodies…but yet it boast great things..behold how great a matter the little fire does kindle..for the tongue it says is a fire a world of iniquity..so is the tongue among our members..it defiles the whole body..and it sets on fire the course of nature..and it is set on fire from hell…James 3:5-6…but as well it tells us in the word of God that we should only speak that which ministers grace unto the hearers…that we should let no corrupt communication proceed out from our mouths..Ephesians 4:29…and as well it goes on to say…that them things that are honest, just, pure, lovely and of a good report..if there be any virtue or if there be any praise we should think on those things..Philippians 4:8..and why would I give scripture on the mind…Well, because as man thinks so is he..Proverbs 23:7…see the mind is what gets it all going anyways..cause most of the time whatever a person is thinking…sooner or later they’ll be speaking..so we should guard ourselves…guard our minds..and free ourselves from speaking any thing whatsoever that isn’t any good to even speak…cause before we can change our own lives..we have to move past the past..and the taking about and bringing up of everyone else and what everyone else is doing and what not.but falling to consider our ownsleves and lives…because once again guys..just Mandi working on Mandi and her life is a full time job..and a all day one…for when we do what were supposed to do with ourselves..helping ourselves to grow in the Lord..we will move past..all of the pity…and all of that drama filled stuff…I love this quote that says this…”Great people talk about ideas, Average people talk about things, and well…it goes on to say that small people talk about other people!”…and I pray were not them small people..I pray were not them ones in whom belittle and talk about and put down others..and their lives..for in doing so it really to goodness doesn’t make anyone look any better…but it does only make them look really childish and immature…because growth comes with change..and I think my all time favorite verse in the bible says this…When I was a child I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, or a woman, I put away childish things..1 Corinthians 13:11…and I think that we all need to be putting away anything that would be childish..for I do know that there comes a time in all of our lives that we do have to grow up..and when you and I get to that place as where were not talking about people…but were discussing meaningful and life giving ideas and things…then I do believe that’s when great things will begin to take place in our lives..so let us grow up and let us love all and once again not merely few..and yes, let us treat others and talk about others the way we ourselves want to be talked about..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
