Everything we do in our lives always is about our focus, determination and self control…if we are going to do anything in our lives it always goes to that fact of us staying focused and always being determined…and remaining steadfast in our self control…we have to keep our own self in subjection…we have to be willing to tell ourselves no..in which case isn’t always easy…if were going to rise up above it…then we have to be willing to do what we need to do to make it happen…we can’t walk around living our lives in the flesh…going with the flow so to speak…doing what everyone is else is doing..all because we want to fit in or the fact that we may feel that we are some how missing something by not being like everyone else…doing what everyone is doing..because to make a difference and to be different…you have to separate yourself…you have to listen to that still small voice of correction when the Lord corrects you…because if the Lord is correcting it’s all because He loves you..that’s what the word of God says..it says that whom the Lord loves He corrects..Hebrews 12:6/Proverbs 3:12…see we can’t go along and be doing our own things…but we have to know that with the choices and decisions we make in our life that it effects all them ones in whom is in our lives..and if your called of the Lord then my prayer is that we all are representing Him well…for people rarely ever change by what someone says to them..most of the time people model their life after the life of them ones in whom their around..and as far as parenting our kids they do grow up and are the way their parents were…they act the way their parents act…and the do the things in which their parents do in their lives…so the thought of it all today is this to each of us..and that is that someone is always watching us and the life we live…their modeling their life after the choices and the decisions that we make..so my question is to us all are them things in which we do pleasing the Lord..and is them things good godly things in which were doing…for once again it always goes back to us with our focus, determination and our self control…for we have to stay grounded…and we have to stay committed…and we have to always think about what it is that were doing…and make sure that them things are lining up with scripture and with what the Lord says to us…for many the bible says will fall…for it says to take heed within yourself…least you think you are standing for you very well could be falling..1 Corinthians 10:12….so pray about your life today…pray about your relationship with Jesus..and ask the Lord to show you if there is anything that you may be doing that is not pleasing to Him…ask the Lord to create in you a clean and pure heart and to renew within you a right spirit..Psalm 51:10…for remember guys…we don’t have to go with the flow just because others are…we can choose to say no..and we can choose to rise above it..and choose to be and have self control…for if we walk in the spirit the word says we won’t mind the things of the flesh..Galatians 5:16..so ask yourself am I pleasing the Lord in my walk..in my life..and in everything it is that I am…because it’s all about the Lord guys..and once again God never changes…He is forever the same…yesterday…today and forevermore..Hebrews 13:8…so listen to the holy spirit when he corrects you…when he nudges at your heart…when he begins to show you things…take heed and do your very best to pray about them things..and to let go of things that shouldn’t be there in your life…for God always does what’s best for us..it’s not that God doesn’t want us to have fun…because living for Jesus is the best fun that you’ll ever have in all of your life…good clean and pure fun…fun that doesn’t hurt others…fun that doesn’t get ya in trouble…that kind of fun is the best kind of fun…so walk in self control…don’t be driven with every single bit of wind that comes…don’t be in other words back and forth and round and round..just doing whatever type of person…I like the saying that says this..you have got to stand for something or you will fall for anything….and I pray were not them people falling for anything..and just doing anything…because I would hate for any of us ever to forget that with what seeds we sow we as well plant a harvest…because something always grows from what we plant…Galatians 6:7…so I pray were planting good seeds…seeds that is gonna thrust us on forward in our walks with Jesus Christ..seeds that will flourish and grow something beautiful in our lives…seeds that will cause others gardens to grow beautifully as well…for iron sharpens iron so a mans friend sharpens the countenance of his friend..Proverbs 27:17…so let us walk, live and breathe Gods goodness..if we fail we rise up again and keep on moving forward..for no not one of us are perfect..Romans 3:10…but for any of us to ever willfully sin…well, we all know that, that just isn’t right..we should never take Gods grace for granted…to misuse it in any way..but always to take it very seriously…for it is serious business…when concerning the work of the Lord and the way we are living our lives for the Lord, representing Him…so don’t forget that guys…everything that any of us ever do or ever will do in all of our lives matters..and it matters big time!..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen…Be blessed today
