The bible says that we are to resist the devil and that he will flee from us..James 4:7…the bible tells us to put on the armor of God and for us to keep it on for the devil as of a roaring lion walks about seeking whom he may devour..Ephesians 6:11/1 Peter 5:8…the bible as well says that as a man thinks so is he..Proverbs 23:7..our minds are very complex things to say the least…have you ever noticed that you can be having the best day ever…filled with lots of laughter and happiness tons of joy and peace…but then all of a sudden it changes and changes pretty quickly to say the least…all because our minds have went somewhere where they probably shouldn’t have went…we go drifting in our thoughts…we go thinking and dwelling on things that has happened unto us…we begin to go over all the things that need to be done to all things that we have yet to do in our lives…we think about things that as I said most of the time we really shouldn’t be thinking about..and especially if we begin to think about the past..and what all has happened there…at that place and time way back when…and we don’t stop there…for once there we like to stroll on around to every place that we were while we was there…and our minds gets bombarded with things that the Lord has already dealt with and has delivered us from…but see that’s how serious our minds are…for the mind can either make us so to speak or break us…they can take us further in our lives…further than we’ve ever been…or they can hold us captive and in prison for the rest of our lives…so what do we do with our days..and with our lives…how do we live them to make sure that we don’t stay a prisoner any longer to who we was or to what has been done to us?…well, we do what we know to do…we do what has worked before…and we get up and we get dressed with the armor of God…for the scripture says…Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit…Ephesians 6:14-18…and we keep our minds and our hearts at all times…we don’t let just anything come strolling around in our minds and in our thought life…but we guard ourselves from all of that stuff that tries to over take us in our lives…we keep ourselves focused on the good that the Lord has done for us and daily does for us…for we know that it’s not what goes in us that matters but it’s what comes out from us..Mark 7:15…so we work on us and that inward man…we make sure that the inside is all cleaned up..we don’t let ourselves get the best of us…and we don’t go around with this poor, pitiful me mentality…but we rise and we praise…we think on good thoughts…we speak of things that are worthy to speak of things that are edifying that the word says that it may minister grace unto the hearers..Ephesians 4:29…and we all know that the devil always uses the same ole things with each of us if we let him…but see we are wiser than the enemy for the Lord has made us wiser..Psalm 119:98..so we grow up and we mature in Christ…for we know that God is for us…Romans 8:31..and that we are children of the Lord…so we need to act like that…live like that…and follow after Christ and the way He lived His life…so when life tries to get the best of us…we rise up and we do what we know to do…we don’t let our minds carry us away to a place that we have no business being…because those places are gone..and them thoughts of defeat should not be there within our lives…for defeat is not anything that any of us should ever have to worry about…because we are victorious in Jesus Christ our Lord..and God is the Victor over everything…for let us always remember that God is in control…and in control always…and that God our God can do anything, anytime and any place that He alone chooses for He is God…and nothing is impossible for Him..Matthew 19:26…so let us all go out and be salt and light in this ole world in which we live..Matthew 5:13-16…let us shine Jesus to all that we meet along the way…that others may see the Lord in our lives…not so much as to what we say…but so much as to what we do…for actions speak louder than our words…and just know and remember that a smile is a language in which everyone can understand…so be the best you that God has created for you to be…and let us all get up and move on out of that old mindset and that old way of thinking…and let us think on the new things and the new beginnings that is taking place in our lives…for God has made all things new..2 Corinthians 5:17…and God has given us all a life and He died that we all could have and live our lives more abundantly..John 10:10..so I pray we all strife to live that life…In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
