“Your name!”

The bible says that your name is rather to be chosen over great riches..Proverbs 22:1…and isn’t that the truth guys…if we all would get really honest with ourselves…cause our names can either make us or break us…Erik and I have always told our son, Anthony, that your name means more than anything in life…because when your name is spoken people immediately have a thought about you…but mostly the thought always seems to fall towards the bad or the wrong of that person…something that they’ve either done or are doing in their lives….for our integrity means everything guys…honesty and truthfulness should ring very loudly and clearly amongst us and who we are in our lives…for I know that everyone in their lives make mistakes and do make mistakes…but as well once something is done considering who you are…it’s very hard to get away from that…it’s very hard to make others believe that you are a changed person..and even if sometimes your actions are lining up differently people still bring up who you were and what you done…I had a read a post that says some people always want to find the bad in people so much that it’s almost as if there going to get an award for it…so today it is a brand new day..and we all have been given it freely from the Lord…and it lies in our hands as to what we do to what we don’t do in this day…but just know that God is the one in whom we should always be pleasing in our walks….and that if we always do what’s right…then we don’t have to worry about not pleasing the Lord with our actions and them things in which we do…because when we want to live right…then guess what guys…we will and we can live right…we always have the ball so to speak in our courts….and only we ourselves choose where were gonna throw our ball…for some they let it roll around anywhere they feel the need to…for others they kinda bounce that ball one way and it automatically just bounces right back doing the same ole thing over and over again and again…but then for others they just take that ball and keep on scorin with that ball…making basket after basket after basket…all because their focus and attention is on the meaningful things…they know that there is a consequence for every action…that they will reap something from what they are choosing to sow..Galatians 6:7…so they keep on doing the right thing…walking that straight and narrow pathway…they keep on being who God created for them to be…they don’t try to manipulate or deceive anyone…they don’t try and hurt or harm anyone…but they just live their lives knowing that their name is rather to be chosen over fine gold or silver…over anything else in their lives…their name is what they keep…and isn’t that the focal point for us all…we all want others to think good of us when our names are mentioned…or brought up…cause it’s hard to get your name back…it’s hard to get people to believe in ya, and trust in ya again once you’ve shown and proved differently…so my prayer for us all is to keep ourselves in the light of the Lord…and keep our names…don’t let our names be thrown around everywhere….but let them be a firm name…let our names be a name as to where no one has to second guess us and who we are…but that they can trust us…and have confidence in us…as not being a swaying person…not a wishy washy person..not a person in whom is up and down and round and round…not one that straddles the fence…not one that is hot and than cold…but a name that is steadfast and unmovable…a name that is always abounding in the work of the Lord..1 Corinthians 15:58…always willing to reach forth and reach out in love to help, lift up and encourage others..for our names should always be a name that at the mention of that name people feel good with that name…for that is what life is all about…living it with a purpose and living it with one thought in mind..and that is yet once again…all of us loving all and not merely few…and living, walking and breathing…always pleasing Jesus…for when we please Him then all else falls into it’s proper place…so let us please that audience of one which is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in His name I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
