So yesterday Erik and I spent our whole day tearing up and ripping out the carpet from our bedroom and the exercise room…it was nice carpet it looked pretty good to say the least…and we had scrubbed it with a carpet cleaner…and I daily poured carpet freshener and baking soda on it to run the vacuum over it..I’d open the windows up to get the fresh air in and on and on I did practically everything that I knew to do but still I couldn’t for the life of me get that smell out of it…it drove me batty…and finally we decided that enough was enough..and we said it’s time to tear it up…and so that’s what we done…and basically we got to the root of the problem..and the problem…was our little doggy had been marking it up..and marking it everywhere…it was terrible…but I begin to think about people and their lives and at how they try their very best to mask the problems that they have in their lives…they try their best to cover it all up…paint it all up..fix it all up…and do everything that they can do but still that smell is there so to speak….but deep down they never get to the root of the problem that they may have in their life…and for some they think if they just let it go…or if they just don’t discuss it…or don’t bring it up than it will vanish away…but guys I’ve come to tell ya this morning the problems that we all face never go away by not confronting them….because they will remain there…no matter what we do, to no matter what we don’t do in our lives…to dress it all up and make it look all pretty…it still is there…and when we go digging around and digging up things that need to be dealt with…believe me it’s not a pretty picture..and or it is fun to say the least…kinda of like that ole nasty carpet that we had in our home…it was a mess yesterday in our house…but afterwards it was much better…Praise the Lord…so I pray that we all get to the root of the problems and or problem that any of us have in our lives…that we turn it over to the Lord and leave them there with Him…we weren’t made or were we created to carry around a bunch of extra baggage in our lives…and to much of anything isn’t good for anyone…but let us get down and get serious in who we are with Jesus…let us all get to the root of whatever it is that we may be facing and or going through…let us seek out help in the best way that we can…for when we don’t get to the root of the problem the root just grows down deeper and deeper in our hearts and in our lives…just like the roots on a tree…see the word of God says that whatever we allow to plant in our lives it will grow into something..Galatians 6:7-9…and for some we’ve allowed…bitterness…anger….resentment…fear…jealousy…hatred….and on and on we’ve allowed things to grow and take root in our hearts…all because we’ve never dealt with them…because as I said it’s not easy being real with really who you are…and what your dealing with…and or going through…but Jesus is always waiting on us…to come to Him…and to give it all to Him…for our hearts the word of God says are to be guarded and protected at all times…for out from them flows the issues of our lives..Proverbs 4:23/Luke 21:34….and when we allow things to grow in our hearts that shouldn’t be there then we only are hurting ourselves and our relationships with others…for I say it this way…when we ain’t right within ourselves we can’t be right with others…so my prayer for each of us today is that we do inventory over our lives and over our hearts…that we seek out the Lords face and ask Him to show us any place that we need to let go of and any place that we need to be healed and freed from…that a way we can move on in our lives…we don’t have to be held back in walks…in our lives in our relationships…we don’t have to be living in the past from the hurts that still may be lingering there in our hearts and minds…but we can deal with them…and keep taking them and giving them to Jesus…because the Lord desires for us all to live an abundant life for He died that we could live our lives abundantly..John 10:10…so today let go of yesterday..and be free from all of that past…all of them hurts…all of that shame…whatever it is I pray that total and complete freedom comes each and everyone of our ways…for life is a beautiful thing…and to daily live it bound up makes it such a terrible thing to live…for Jesus will deliver and set you free from all of them things..for He is so faithful and just the bible says to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness..1 John 1:9…and the Lord doesn’t require us to live our lives based on what happened way back when…for you see that was only a chapter in our lives that wasn’t the whole story of our lives…so let us all continue our stories with Jesus…for when we keep walking with the Lord and keep striving for Him and His presence and His will for our lives…than guys our lives will be completely beautiful ones to live…for the Lord tells us I know the thoughts that I think towards you…thoughts of peace and not of evil, thoughts to give you an expected end…Jeremiah 29:11…Praise the Lord…and there is nothing else more beautiful in any of our lives then true blue freedom…and being free from it all…for that’s what life is all about…being made free…and the word says that whom the Son sets free is truly free indeed…John 8:36..Hallelujah…so don’t let that ole devil keep any of you bound up…in any way shape of form…but let it all go…let go of everything that is stealing away your life and your life of abundance that Jesus died that you could live…and than you’ll truly be living…not bound but completely free…Hallelujah…so let us all be free…In Jesus’ name…I do ask and pray….Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever
