“If only we loved like a child!”…

So these past few days I have been showered with loads of love, hugs and kisses from two of my precious great nieces..and from my new neighbors little girl who is 4…and I have thought a lot about it and how they love and when a child loves you it’s like the purest love that you can ever receive..kids teach you how to love..they may fuss one with another but then they’ll turn right around and love one another..they teach you to slow down and take time to laugh and enjoy life…they teach you not to worry…they teach you how to rest..and how to eat..live..love…learn and play…they really do teach us a lot if we only would pay attention to them…so for all day Saturday that I got to spend with my nieces…till tonight the very short time I got to spend with our new neighbors…I have been overwhelmed by all of the love that I have received from them precious little girls…as for tonight the little girl opens my hand and she says to me, I’m going to give you an opened hand kiss, so her sweet little self bends down to my hand and she kisses it..and then she looks up at me and she says, if you ever feel lonely or sad…just take my kiss and place it on your cheek…and I will be giving you a kiss…my heart completely melted, considering that this was the first time that I had ever meet her…is that not the sweetest thing ever…so I have been so blessed by the love that I have received..and so thankful for it…for there’s just something about that kind of love that does wonders for your soul..and for your heart….so I was thinking how wonderful this ole world would be if only adults could learn to be like the little children…how they are..how they forgive and go on they don’t let misunderstandings or disagreements stand in the way of friendships…or their love for one another…they get up and move on…they teach us to sit down and just play….they teach us so very much about how to really enjoy our lives..so my thoughts are if only we could love like a child…if only we could forgive and let go like a child…if only we loved everyone as they do….for there’s no difference with a child…they treat everyone the same…how better our worlds would honestly be…for the word of the Lord says it this way…At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and sit him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as a the little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso ever shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me….Matthew 18:1-5…and as well the word says that Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven…Matthew 19:14…I wondered why the Lord would use the children to reference heaven…but I can understand now why the Lord would use children, for they are nothing like adults are…for children as I said earlier we all can learn a whole lot from…they have their little things that they may do…but those big things that they do…those things mean more than anything….especially the love part and the forgiving part…that part of loving all and not merely few…those parts the children sure do have down…and them parts mean the biggest parts of it all when considering life and when considering how to treat and love others…I pray we all learn from the little children..and I pray we all do as the little children do when it comes to those important parts of life and what we as children of the Lord should be doing and always be doing..and that is loving all and not merely few…and forgiving all and once again not merely few…for we all know to be forgiven we ourselves have to forgive..Matthew 6:14…so let us love and let us forgive…In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
