So yesterday as I stood in my driveway waiting on my husband to come home, I knew he was on his way, but I wasn’t quit sure how long it would be before he got here….so as I stood there waiting and so full of joy and excitement  just knowing that he was on his way…I kept anticipating his arrival and I grew a little anxious and my excitement kept right on growing as well…so I began to pray to the Lord all the while looking around at the beautiful day that the Lord had given to us…and as well thanking Him for bringing Erik home safe and sound..and I kept praying and I began to think about us as Gods children and at how the bible tells us that one day the skies are gonna open up…John 1:51…and one day in the twinkling of an eye that Jesus Christ is coming back to gather up His children…and I thought about at how we as well the Lord tells us to watch and pray…Matthew 24:43..and be ready for we know not what hour the Lord is gonna return..and He as well, says that He will come back like a thief in the night..Revelation 16:15…so as I stood there…I began to think about my life, and I began to thank the Lord that I am ready…in my heart and in my soul if the Lord were to come back, that I could stand there unashamed before my Father…and know that I know that I’m okay…so as well I began to think about my household….thinking about Erik and Anthony and praising the Lord that they as well are ready if the Lord were to come back to receive them unto Himself…anyways later on that evening…we all went over to visit Erik’s mom and dad…and my precious in-laws and they as well began to talk about their family and how that they praise Jesus that their household everyone of them are saved and serve the Lord…and thanking the Lord for His mercy and grace that He has given and bestowed upon each of us..and I thought isn’t that really what life is all about…knowing that the greatest work that any of us can ever achieve or accomplish is that in which we do behind the four wall of our homes….at how we lead by our example to our children…and that they when older they pass that down on to their children…to their spouses and so forth…because knowing that we are right with God is so freeing…knowing that were not ashamed to stand before Him…that is the most precious and glorious thing to me in all of my life…so today as with any day…I pray that we all work on our homes….guarding them…protecting them….loving them…and shining the light of the Lord for them..and more than anything knowing that they serve God, knowing that they are right with Jesus, knowing that their names are written down in the Lambs book of life….because we may not think that others are watching us and our actions or that them things that we do matters…but guys everything we do matters…from the way we work…to even the way we keep our homes…the way we talk…the way we respond…on and on…it all matters and makes a difference in others lives…especially them ones in whom are with us daily…cause as a momma and daddy…those babies look up to you as their parent more than anyone else…and whatever way you choose to live your life..is the way that they as well are gonna choose to live theirs….and whether your choosing a right way or a wrong way, their gonna follow that..because they won’t know any better…so they do follow in your footsteps always remember that…so make sure that your footsteps I pray are following in the Lords…because always know that theirs is following in yours…In Jesus’ name I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen!!
