Well, guys today I spent my day taking up the carpet in our living room, and on the surface it wasn’t all that bad…but it was pretty old…anyways I begin to pull that stuff up, rip it up, and cut it all up…and boy oh boy, it was not all that good…Lol….it had stains…and a whole bunch of mess underneath it…old carpet freshener, dust..and dirt built up from over the years…but I begin to think about us and in our own lives…how that when we start out with Jesus…He doesn’t deal with every issue or problem that we may have all at once..but He does begin to deal with them over time…because we are always to be growing and changing to be more like our Father…and thank goodness the Lord doesn’t just take everything all at once away from us..talking about that pruning process and that cutting away process, that the Bible talks about…John 15:2…because see guys on the outside we can look pretty good…we may even think we have it going on, so to speak….and everything is alright with us and our lives and our walks with Jesus…until that day comes, and the Lord begins dealing with ya…dealing with that heart of ours…and He does…and He begins to kinda dig in there a little deep and starts to draw things up out of there, that maybe we had done forgotten about..but how many of ya know that God never forgets…because the word says the Lord looks upon our hearts..1 Samuel 16:7…see whats in us does sooner or later come out of us…I believe thats why the Lord tells us to guard our hearts above all else for out from them flows the issues of our lives..Proverbs 4:23…and as well out of the abundance of the heart the mouth will speak..Luke 6:45…but just like that carpet in my living room today..it looked pretty good on the surface..it didn’t have dirt just laying around on it, nor was there carpet freshener just sprinkled all over it…it looked good to me…but when I began to pull that stuff up…well now let me tell that was another whole situation…because as I said it had a mess underneath it…and it took awhile for me to get everything cleaned up…and took out….so just know that sometimes when the Lord begins dealing with you over an issue in your life…sometimes it can get pretty messy….but I pray that whatever the Lord is doing in you and your life…that you just hold on and let the Lord have His way…because the Lord had a great plan for you and your life…and we will go through the fire and be purged along the way..Zechariah 13:9…because that inward man of ours has to be all cleaned up…and it has to stay all cleaned up…cause that heart of ours makes all the difference in the world…cause when our hearts are right…than we are right..we are right with people…we are right with our minds and we are right with that person in whom God would have for us to be…so hold on through the cleansing…don’t give up…and my prayer for us, each of us is this, that when that still small voice begins to deal with us…then by all means I pray we listen and then I pray that each of us always choose to obey…In Jesus’ name I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen!!!
