Rest is such an important factor in each of our lives, we all should take a time to rest and relax from time to time…even the Lord rested..for the word of the Lord says that, God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made…Genesis 2:3…so I pray that each of us take time to learn to rest.. rest our minds, rest our bodies, and rest our souls…that we learn to relax and enjoy the peacefulness, the quietness, and the contentment of it all….studies show that when we rest, we have less stress, and we have healthier bodies…for the Lord tells us in the book of Mark that we should come away and rest awhile..Mark 6:31…so never be so busy, being busy, just doing stuff..that you don’t take time to rejuvenate your body…for we all need it….to function probably…to be alert..and for us to restore our bodies both physically and spiritually…so today of all days which is Sunday should be a day of rest…if your able to than by all means do so…take time to enjoy the moments..take time to do them things in which you like to do…just to be still and relax…for relaxing and rest is such a beautiful thing in which the Lord has blessed each of us with…but it takes each of us to take the time to enjoy it..so I pray we do…I pray we all find balance in our lives…and true lasting contentment…for godliness with contentment is a great gain…1 Timothy 6:6…for when we help ourselves to find balance…then we’re not only helping us but we are as well helping all of them other people in which are in our lives…so be at rest…and relax…In Jesus’ name I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen!!!
