The Lord knew all to well that offenses would come unto each of us…and they come constantly….some daily, some weekly, and some monthly…but either way they do come our way…and there not at all pleasant for any of us…but when they come they prove one of two things, either they prove we have a lot of growing to do…or it proves that we have grown a lot….see the word says,…Woe unto the world because of offenses! for it must needs be that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh!…Matthew 18:7….and what exactly does offense mean, well, it means that it is something that causes a person to be hurt, angry, or upset…and it is the act of attacking another, to assaulting another…offenses are not at all a pretty thing…and when they do come we maybe want to retaliate, we maybe even want to do as they done back in the old testament…and return that eye for an eye so to speak…but guys God says that we have heard that it has been said an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth…in other words what you’ve done to me, I am going to do the same to you…but the word says that we are to turn the other cheek…that we are not to return evil for evil but that we overcome evil with good..Matthew 5:38…and that we are to forgive and forgive a lot of times..the scripture says, that we are to forgive seventy times seven…Matthew 18:22….so let us all be wise…and let us all do as the word says…and let us keep our hearts with all diligence for out from them flows the issues of life…Proverbs 4:23…and God, our God came to give each of us a life and a life abundant..John 10:10….He does not want any of us to live daily defeated…and hurt and in a lot of pain…but He wants us to be happy, healthy, whole and made complete in all areas of our lives….for we only live once here on this earth so don’t spend your time…upset, angry, mad and always hurt…hurt by others and their offenses that they try and bring onto you and bring into your life….I pray we pray about everything and than we let go and we let God….for hatred, and bitterness grows an ugly, ugly thing in our hearts and if were not careful it can grow and flourish into something that none of us want in our lives…so let it go whatever the hurt, whatever the pain…whatever the lies…deceit…whatever it may be…I pray right now at this very moment that we all just let it go, and that we all just let God….In Jesus’ name I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen!!
