”Hold On!”

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

We are called to “fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12). We are also told to “endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” (2 Timothy 2:3).

What is a soldier? A soldier is a person who serves in an army, trained to protect, fight, and maintain security. Likewise, a soldier of God is one who fights spiritual battles not with physical weapons, but through faith, prayer, and the truth of God’s Word.

The Bible also tells us to rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that “suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.” (Romans 5:3–4). But what does hope mean to us?

Hope means everything. It fills us with an optimistic expectation that something good can happen, and it keeps us looking forward to a positive future even when life is difficult. Amen! In turn, hope strengthens our faith and gives us unwavering trust in God and in all of His promises. Amen! For “all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen.” (2 Corinthians 1:20).

So today, I pray that each of us will be filled with confidence and assurance as we continue fighting as good soldiers for Jesus Christ. May we faithfully run the race set before us, remain filled with hope, and continue to hold on through every trial, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:1–2). Knowing that, by His grace, we are making it and we will make it. Amen!”

”For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen & Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
