“Grateful means showing and feeling a deep appreciation for the kindness and blessings in your life. It keeps you in a mindset of thankfulness, appreciating all that you have and all that you receive. Amen.

A grateful heart keeps you in a positive state of mind, helping you see more good than bad. It keeps you focused on the goodness in your life rather than the struggles that may be there. It keeps you moving in the right direction. Amen.

They say there is always something to be grateful for. Amen. We have many blessings and benefits that the Bible says the Lord loads us with daily. “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits.” (Psalm 68:19). Amen.

From the tiniest gifts we receive to the biggest blessings, we can see the goodness of God and be grateful for it all. Amen. From waking up each morning with a sound mind, to having love in our hearts and peace in our lives; from a warm cup of coffee, to the food we are able to prepare; from the wildflowers we can pick in our yards, to the family, friends, and jobs we are blessed to have every blessing is worth thanking God for. Amen.

Being grateful is an attribute we develop and work on daily until it simply becomes a part of who we are. Amen. It helps us realize how blessed our lives have been and how continually blessed they are. It takes the little we may have and turns it into enough. Amen.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and fills our hearts with hope. It reminds us that when one door closes, another will open according to God’s perfect plan and will for our lives. Amen.

So today, I pray for a grateful heart, a thankful spirit, and a mind filled with God’s peace for each of us. May we begin counting our blessings and naming them one by one. May our eyes be opened with clear vision to see all that we have, how abundantly blessed we are, and how thankful we should always be. Amen.

For we are blessed, and we are highly favored by our Father King Jesus. So let us choose gratefulness every day. Let us see, appreciate, and cherish it all while living and loving this beautiful gift we all call life. Amen!”
