“Godliness with contentment!”

“Wouldn’t it be such a shame to get to the end of our lives and realize that we never truly enjoyed our life, never enjoyed our moments, and never appreciated the gifts that God had given us? Always searching for something new..always rushing ahead, wanting more than what is right before our eyes..always thinking that what we have isn’t enough, that we have somehow fallen short in life. Amen.

And how many of you know that whatever we have and whatever we are doing are gifts from God? Amen. The Word says that “godliness with contentment is great gain.” (1 Timothy 6:6). Amen.

And the great gain is simply this loving it all the good, the bad, the ugly, the beauty, and even all the mess that life can sometimes bring. Amen.

I saw a post this morning that said, “The amount of good in your life is your ability to see it.” Amen. And isn’t that so true?

For when we begin to think that our lives are just ordinary, that we are behind, that we need more, that we don’t have enough, or that we’ve failed, then we begin to become a little ungrateful. We begin seeing things the way the world sees them. Amen.

We become saddened in our hearts, and we begin looking at what others have instead of looking at our own lives and realizing just how blessed and adored we are by our Father in Heaven. Amen.

We forget to keep watering our own grass and making it the greenest it can be with what we have. Because here’s the thing: if we count our blessings and see God’s hand in our lives daily, then we will stay content. We will stay happy and joyful when we truly see how good our lives really are the peace, the love, the family, the friends, the food, the home, the soundness, the quietness of it all just how beautiful and wonderful it truly is.

For when we stop seeing and stop appreciating, we begin to lose sight of it all. We begin to murmur and complain. We begin to cry for no reason. We begin to think the worst. We begin to quit in certain areas. We start saying, “What’s the use?” Amen.

But when we keep our eyes wide open, remember all that God has done for us, and understand that we are exactly where God needs us to be in our lives that He has equipped us for this life, and that this life is only temporary then our perspective changes. Amen!

We begin doing the best we can daily, pouring out love and goodness into this world and into the life God has given us. For we have all been called for such a time as this. Amen.

We have all been given an anointing to live this life with what we have. Amen. Because what we have is enough. The person you are is enough. The talents you have, the love you give, and the encouragement you speak into others all matter. Because the little things in life are truly the big things. Amen.

Taking good care of your family. Amen. Loving them beyond measure. Praise the Lord.

So don’t lose sight of all that God has done for you and continues to do for you daily. For we serve a great God, and He loves us unconditionally. Amen.

He has done great things for each of us in our lives. But our job is this: to let God know that we are grateful and thankful for it all. That we love Him, appreciate Him, and cherish all that He is to us. Amen.

For He is always working things together for our good closing doors, opening doors, protecting us in ways we do not even see. Amen. He does things that we don’t even realize He is doing. Amen.

So my prayer for us all today is this be content. For godliness with contentment is great gain. Hallelujah!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
