“I have often told others, and have heard myself my whole life, that if you and I can stand before our Father, the Maker of heaven and earth, unashamed, then we can stand before anyone else in this world. Amen. For you see, in God’s presence, we are transformed from glory to glory into being more like Him. Sometimes in our everyday lives, we fall short. But even in our failings or mistakes, we can still stand before our Father. It’s amazing because His love for us is incredible. The Lord isn’t like us; He loves us regardless of who we are or what we’ve done. Amen. He continues to love us because that is who He is. Amen. But somehow, in society, when we fail, we turn away from others or from people who have caused us hurt or pain, and we do this ever so quickly. Amen! I just want to say this: people aren’t perfect, but people need people. We have to learn to be more like Jesus. Amen. We have to consider others and their lives, and we have to go the extra mile (Matthew 5:41). We have to turn the other cheek (Matthew 5:38-40), feed them (Matthew 6:37-44), and clothe them, so to speak (Romans 12:20, Proverbs 25:21). Even if their actions and words do not line up with their lives, or even if they are not kind to us, even if they’ve hurt us over and over, we must be free in our hearts and lives. We must do as the word of God says, which is to forgive seventy times seven (Matthew 18:21-22). Amen.
So this morning, how are you doing in this area? For me, I am doing okay, but I know I can and must do better. Amen. We all must because that’s what the Lord desires from us. He desires that we walk in fellowship with one another (1 John 1:7). He desires that we adore and love one another, regardless of life and actions. Of course, He doesn’t desire for us to be mistreated, but He does desire for us to live in peace with everyone. Amen!
Life is way too short, and we can’t continually judge people by their mistakes. Amen. We all have made many mistakes, and praise be to the Lord who casts those sins far away, ‘never to be brought up again’ (Micah 7:19). Amen.
So, I feel that we need to forgive more. We need to quit speaking of people’s pasts and help them live in the now, giving them freedom and happiness. I am so thankful that Jesus doesn’t always sit around talking about what I have done or am doing, because God knows it’s a process growing up in Him and becoming the person He has made me to be. Amen. Just as we desire grace from others, we should give grace to others. Amen. We are all in this life together, so let us help one another. Amen. Let us love and love some more. Let us do as our Father does. If we can stand before our Lord, then we can stand before anyone, unashamed and completely free. Hallelujah! It is in Jesus’ name that I ask and pray. Amen and Amen. Be blessed today, my dear sweet friends, and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, be a light for our Father. Much love to you all, Mandi.”
