“Change your Habits..Change your Life!”

“They say that habits are hard to break..and that may be true but I can say that some habits need to be broken..and especially since becoming a child of God..it at times takes time to change the way we do things and the things we say..and a lot of times I think many fail to even know that the things they’re doing are not very nice or even kind things but they’re so used to themselves they never see those things they’re doing..and well, for others the Lord has dealt with them over those things..but they may take heed for a moment or so..but than they fall right back into the trap of those bad habits and actions and they just continue on the same path they’ve always been on that they pay no never mind to the correction or should I say discipline of the Lord when He does correct..the bible calls it being turned over to reprobate..Romans 1:28..see that’s one place that absolutely none of us ever want to get in our lives..that place as to where we disregard the Lord’s voice in our lives and we just continue on our own pathway..other than God’s and in doing so we never grow into being what He wants us to be in our lives..because we come to Jesus and we change..and our change is evident..Amen!”

“We don’t nor should we remain the same..we mature and grow with each and every passing day..we are always learning something..but more than anything we are learning the fruit of the spirit..we are learning to be more loving, joyful, peaceful, forbearing, kind, good, faithful..gentle and having more self-control..Galatians 5:22-23..so this morning I always go back to the same principle in all of our lives and that would be this..I would have to ask us all to take a look at us and our lives..and I would ask for us to take a look and ask ourselves to pay attention to who we are..and ask ourselves if those things that we are doing are helping us to grow and mature in Jesus?..and I would ask ourselves if those things and habits are pulling us closer to the Lord or pulling us away?..are they bearing forth the fruit of the spirit in our lives?..and are we treating others the way we ourselves want to be treated?..and last but not least are we listening to the leading and guiding of the Lord in our lives?..are we receiving His correction and discipline?..because honestly only we can answer them questions..so to be better we do better..and to change our lives for the better we start right where we are with them ones in whom are around us..but most importantly we start with us and who we are..because I can say a thousand times over until we’re better with who we are..we can never be better with others and who they are..Amen..so let us start with us..let us be better..and let us grow and let us mature in Christ Jesus our Lord..shining for Him and Him alone in all that we do and in all that we say..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
