“So I was listening to this Pastor preach about yielding your fruit in life..and in the book of Psalm it says that we should be like trees planted by the waters..that we should yield ‘OUR’ fruit in due season..Psalm 1:3..Amen..but the problem occurs when we get distracted by someone else’s fruit in their lives..considering that they have a different personality than what we have..so we try to yield their fruit..by doing what they do..by acting as they act..wanting to be an orange when the Lord clearly made them an apple..Amen..so instead of holding ground and getting planted where the Lord has them..they root themselves up and try to be something or someone their not..so instead of holding down their spot in their lives..doing their thing in life..they begin to get overwhelmed trying to be as someone else..acting as someone else..pretty much an impersonator..so they never yield the fruit and they never get to flourish as the Lord intends because they are way too busy looking all around them at others..and feeling as if they and what the Lord has given them is not enough..they gotta be someone else..and surly they must have to be doing something else..they ain’t all that sunshine and sparkle as they’re co-worker may be..or their friend may be..so they gotta start acting better is what they think in their minds..all the while missing who they are and who the Lord has made for them to be..Amen!”

“It’s like Peter..everyone is so concerned with what Peter did as far as walking on the water and getting out of the boat..but that wasn’t what the Lord commanded of them..He commanded that they get in the boat..Amen..He didn’t ask for any of them to get out of the boat and walk on the water..but instead of listening Peter had to really make sure that the Lord was the one that was there with them..all the while Andrew was very content and happy by simply being in the boat..just as Jesus desired..Matthew 14:22-33..Amen..just as us we get in a spot and we don’t want that spot we want our neighbors spot..we want our co-workers spot..we want to do something different..what we’re doing is not glamorous..is not good enough..were not funny..we don’t laugh a lot..we’re just a mom or dad..we are just this or that..whatever that might be for you..but can I say to us all this morning..God our Father has made us just as He desires for us to be..He does not want us yielding anyone else’s fruit in life..He does not want us to be like someone else..He wants us to do the job where we are..He wants us to be the mom that He has called for us to be..He wants us to be the dad..He wants us to be the coach..the teacher..the preacher..the friend..the builder the painter..I don’t know what your title may be..but whatever it is the Lord wants for you to be that..and give it your all..stay there and hold down your spot in life..be like Andrew and ‘STAY IN YOUR BOAT’..Amen!”

“The Lord wants us all to bare our fruit in life..not the fruit of someone else..but if we continually have to do this or that..or be somewhere else..or act like someone else..or live like someone else..we never get planted..we never reach or get to reach our full potational because were too busy looking else where..were too busy jumping around in life to always wanting something else..jumping out of our boats..that we never get to bare the life or the fruit that the Lord has given to us to bare..not our neighbor..not our friend..but us..Amen..so be you in life..for there is only one of you..Amen..we all are different..and we all are supposed to be..we are not called to be someone in whom were not..we are called to be us..the Lord made us the way He alone chose..our gifts..our talents..everything about us is how the Lord intended for us to be..for the bible says that we are fearfully and have been wonderfully made..Psalm 139:14..Amen..so yield your fruit in life whatever that may be for you..and bare that fruit as the word says in due season..stay planted by the rivers of water..so you can bare much fruit in your life..let your roots grow deep..stay on the pathway that God has you..be who the Lord intends for you to be..be obedient to what He has called you to be and stay where He has asked for you to stay..be content where you are..for godliness with contentment it is of a great gain..1 Timothy 6:6..Amen..so quit looking around you..and start enjoying where you are this day in life..relaxing and all the while enjoying your boat of life that God has given to you..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
