“Acceptable unto you, Oh, Lord!”

So this past Sunday at church our Pastor had spoken this statement and it has honestly to goodness stuck with me these past few days..and the statement was this..”Everything is tolerated in this life that we live..other than what is right, pleasing and acceptable in the sight of our Lord!”..and I tell ya guys is that not such a powerful statement to be made?..I mean isn’t that the truth of all truths..it seems as if the wrong that is out there is tolerated and is so very much acceptable..but when it comes to them things that are pleasing unto our Lord and Savior..them things that are right in our Lord’s eyes are them things that we as Christians get fought ever so hard for..for I know that when we go to speak the truth to someone there seems to be always this compromise that comes with the answer that they may make to us or even give back to us..for it seems that wrongs have somehow become rights..and that the rights have somehow with this generation that we all live in become wrongs..but let me just say to you all that our Lord never changes..and that His word never does it ever change..for our Father is forever the same..the scripture says that, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever more..Hebrews 13:8..Amen..and as well it says in the book of 2nd Timothy..that the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;..and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables…2 Timothy 4:3-4..for I know that within all of our lives that with every compromise comes many defeats and failures..for victory cannot lie in the hands of people in whom continually compromise..but my question to us all is why do we feel the need to compromise in our life?..for I know that when you become a child of God your only thought and your only heart is too please our Lord..with everything in whom you are..for were never going to be perfect..but as well the word says be ye perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect..and as well it says to us do we think that Gods grace is going to abound with us in our sins it says God forbid..Romans 6:1-2..so my prayer for us all is that we live honestly and upright before our Lord..and that if we fail and if we fall we get up and we make it right..and that we do our best to please the Lord..knowing that wrong is wrong guys..and that right is right..there is no in between about any of it..and if it’s in the word well that settles it..we don’t rewrite the word..and we don’t add to the word..we just live out the word..Amen..following hard after Jesus..living out that marvelous and wonderful scripture that we find in the book of Psalms..that says this unto us all..”Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.”..Psalm 19:14..so for us all I pray we don’t compromise in our walk..that we lay our heads down at night knowing that we did the best that we could this day for our Lord..that we lived walking and abiding in His grace and His light..for that is life..and that is what all of our lives are about..and that is pleasing our Lord above all else..Amen..so let us live our lives for the Lord..always living them for Him guys and Him alone..don’t ever be afraid to stand up for what you believe..for as they say even if it means that your standing alone..because even then were never alone for our Lord is there with us…so let us do what’s right always I pray..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
