So last night while at work one of the guys there begin to tell me this story that his father had told him..and it really caught my attention..and it went like this..”There was this man and he was going to cross over this tiny rope that ran across this grand canyon..and the crowd stood there and the man says do you believe that I can cross this tiny rope just by walking a crossed it?..and the crowd cheered and clapped him on..and so he tells them again do you believe that I can run a crossed it?..and yet again the crowd cheered him on…and then he says do you believe that I can push this wheel barrel a crossed it?..and the crowd yet once again cheered and clapped him on..and then the man says do you believe that I can put you all inside this wheel barrel and push you all with me across this tiny rope bridge over this grand canyon?..and there was nothing but silence that fell over the entire crowd..so here’s the moral of the story and that is the difference between faith and believing..Amen..because they believed in him until it came to them being involved..and there faith it went right out the front door so to speak..for they believed but they didn’t have the faith to move forward and trust that man to take them across that tiny robe bridge over that grand canyon that was there in front of them..so my thought came immediately to the Lord and I begin to think about my life..and I begin to think about others and their life..and I said I wonder how many of us fall back other than having the faith to go across that tiny robe bridge with Jesus..for we all cheer the Lord on when its easy..and when of course were not asked to be involved..but what if God came and ruffled up our quiet and cozy little nest that we make for ourselves and tells us to come and follow him as he takes us over them grand canyons of life?..do we cheer him with greatness when its all in his corner..but fail to cheer or even go when asked about us going along with Him?..is our faith so radical that when the Lord speaks to go is it there strong enough to trust in the unknown..even when it looks dangerous?..for believing guys is one thing that is for sure..but having the faith to rise when it all looks completely impossible that in and of itself is a whole other level to walk down with our Lord..for faith is where those miracles happens in our lives..when we rise up and go regardless of what it looks like..when our faith is anchored and secured in the Lord so we trust God with where He leads and where it is that He alone may ask for us to go..so today my prayer is that each of us and our faith is stronger than our fears..that we place faith high up above all the situations and or the circumstances of our lives..for without faith it’s impossible to please the Lord..Hebrews 11:6..but with our faith the bible says all things are possible..Mark 9:26..Amen..for it says that..Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was called the friend of God.”..James 2:23…so wherever we are at in our lives..when the Lord leads us guys, I pray we follow..and when our Lord speaks, I pray we all listen and we all obey..for our Father always leads and guides us to our promise land..so be strong and courageous in the Lord and put on His whole armor..Joshua 1:9/Ephesians 6:10-18….for God has great plans for us and our lives..but it takes our faith in the Lord to make them plans and them dreams manifest and come forth in our lives and in our world in which we all live..for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God..Romans 10:17..for the word says that faith without works is dead..James 2:14-26..so let our faith rise up taller and stronger than its ever been, in each of our lives and let it rise up today!”…In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
