Stay the course guys and whatever you do don’t get distracted by the distractions..but keep your focus and keep your eyes on the Lord..for it seems all to well that anytime the Lord is getting ready to do something grand in your life..or even promote you to another level in Him so to speak..that ole devil comes and he doesn’t tell ya bad things per say..but he tells you everything it is that you want to hear..for he makes it all sound so good these things that will supposedly happen or supposedly could happen for you and what not..but let me tell ya something you know your Fathers voice..for the word of God says that His voice you will know and the voice of a stranger you will not follow..John 10:5/John 10:27..just as our Lord was led up the word says by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil..and isn’t that in and of itself a scripture?..I mean think about Jesus was lead up by the Spirit of God to be tempted of the devil..and here we always seem to think that were not going to be tempted and tried..guys I tell ya sometimes the Lord lets these things happen to test us and to try us..to see if we will obey Him and His commands that He alone has given to us..to see if we will stand faithful and true against all evil..and no matter what is said to what is done we will be obedient to the Lord and His call..no matter the cost or the sacrifice…Amen..for our Lord was tempted and the Spirit of God knew it all to well..so why do we think that we’re going to be exempt from it?..because I can say that we will not be..so back to it all..when Jesus got there in the wilderness..that ole devil came and began tempting our Lord..and telling Him that if you be the Son of God turn these stones into bread..but the Lord said man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God..Amen..and then again that ole devil said to the Lord..If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone..and Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God…and yet again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve..Matthew 4:1-10..so the thing about it all is that the devil doesn’t always come with them red horns and that red cape that we think about when it comes to him all because of society and what they’ve given to us as the image that the devil is portrayed as to looking the worst or even talking the worst..because that just isn’t so..for that is not how the devil portrays himself to us..he comes to us as everything that we are wanting in life..he comes giving everything that we think we need..he comes telling us everything it is that we are wanting to hear..but beware because as well on the other side of them lies he is telling he always has a trick up his sleeve..for he is a lier and he is a thief..and his soul purpose is to always steal, kill and to destroy us..John 10:10..he comes giving you the world..but guys always and forever remember that you are not for sale..Amen..it doesn’t matter what it is if God says no than it’s a no..not to be sugar coated and not to be anything other than a no..so when that devil comes and tries to distract and get you off course..always pray and stay the pathway and stay the course..for Gods plan far outweighs anything that ole devil can ever present to you..so let go of whatever it is that you think sounds so good..for a lot of times if it’s too good be true well its probably just that..too good to be true..for Gods ways are way better than ours..for He sees ahead where we don’t and yet once again He always knows whats best for each of us and our lives..so pray daily..stay close to Jesus..and whatever you do always follow His leading and His guiding..and always listen to obey His still small voice..for God never will lead us down a wrong pathway..even if its not the one we thought it should be..always trust its the one that God wants for it to be..for God knows our lives from the beginning to the end..so we can rest in His care always and forever..never to worry and never to fret..for God has us..and all is well for each of us..no matter what..for we walk and go by faith and not at all by sight..2 Corinthians 5:7..always leaning, trusting and believing in our Lord..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
