I always think about everyone in general and I think about how busy we are as a people and as a generation..we rush around from one event to the next..we rush to take our kids to school in the mornings..we rush ourselves to get to work..we rush home in the afternoon to hurry and fix some dinner and off we go to the next T-ball game..ballet event..cheerleading..football practice..to even our own agendas as far as working out..lifting weights and so forth..to even some of us taking classes online..to even going to college during the day to only rush to get home to get to work..so everything that we do is a fast paced way of living that we’ve had to come to grips with..because were doing the best we can for our families and for a better tomorrow for us all..so there is really no time to slow down in the midst of all that we do in our 24 hours that we all have been given..but my prayer is that we all at least give God an hour of our days..I know we may think of the Lord..and that is fantastic guys..don’t ever get me wrong..but actually taking time to go and get in our secret place of prayer and devotion with the Lord for only an hour does wonders for us and our day..it strengthens us in our weakness..it fills us up so we can go on..it really amazes me at how the Lord changes us in His presence..2 Corinthians 3:18..at how we get through our days better than what we ever could have when we take time to be with the Lord..for God tells us to cast our every care on Him for He cares for us..Psalm 55:22/1 Peter 5:7..and He loves us so very much..but as well we’re told to pray continually for that is God’s will concerning us all..1 Thessalonians 5:17..for you see the more time we spend with Jesus the more we do get to know Him better then what we did before..we build our relationship with Him..so never just rush along and leave God at the sidelines of your life..for none of us will get to far if we do..for we need God more than we need anything in all of our lives..so take time just to sit still and talk with the Lord..seek His face the word says while He still can be found..Isaiah 55:6-7..for God is always wanting to hear from us..so take time to spend with Him..getting refilled..getting refreshed..and getting that cleansing every single time it is that we do..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray, Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
