I love this song that says this..”Sometimes when I’m weary…satan wars with my soul..to get my mind off from the cross..and I start fighting battles Christ has already won..in a war satan has already lost..if I hold fast to the foot of the cross..I’d be caught in it’s lives cleanings blood..if I stay on my knees when satan wants me..then he’d have to walk through the blood…Amen…and how many of us sometimes through out our day that satan doesn’t try to come to us and remind us of our past..to try to get us discouraged..to try to make us think that were unworthy of Gods grace..and we do begin to fight things that the Lord our God has already won for us..see the bible says that there is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus…Romans 8:1..and that our sins have been forgiven and the word says cast away from us as far as the east is from the west so far has the Lord removed our transgressions from us..Psalm 103:12…and the bible says never to be brought up against us again..Micah 7:19…Amen..so when were covered guys..I pray we never forget that we are covered..and that we are forgiven..and that we have been set free..Praise the name of the Lord..for whom the Son sets free is free indeed..John 8:36…Hallelujah…so just know that God’s grace is sufficient for us..2 Corinthians 12:9…and that the devil is nothing but a liar and the bible says that father of them all..John 8:44..when you begin to dig up past and think about past..just know that it is not from the Lord our God…so the word says you cast down every imagination that would try to exalt itself against the Lord..and you bring it all into captivity..2 Corinthians 10:5..for greater is He that is within you..then he that is within this ole world..1 John 4:4..so let go of the past..let go of the mistakes for our Lord doesn’t remember them…only the ole devil remembers all that bunch of mess that we were in..for he is always trying to get us to look back..but praise the Lord guys..we know that we are the Lords children..and that as well we are not perfect nor will we ever be..we will make mistakes and we will at times do things and say things that we don’t mean to…but we cannot live our lives dwelling on that old man..for the word of God says Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new..2 Corinthians 5:17..for we are brand new in the Lord..and we are Gods…and that ole devil can’t have us..and he cannot do anything to us..so when a thought enters your mind and you know where it has come from…shake that stuff off..don’t let it take nesting in your mind…as this little lady one day years ago told me..she said honey don’t let the bird take nesting in your hair..but let it fly right on over..for you know who you are..so think about good things guys..let go of yesterday..and hold fast to today..for God is doing a new thing..and each new morning His mercies are new..Lamentations 3:23..for even now the Lord says behold I do a new thing do you not know?.Isaiah 43:19..so just know you are a new creation..you are not who you use to be..and know that you are doing the best you can..and really that’s all that the Lord requires from us all..to do the best we can with what we have…and daily live and walk in His love and grace..being a light for Him..always shining and living in the Lord’s glory and always giving the Lord honor and praise that is due unto His name..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
