Well, last night when our power had went off it got me thinking about two things in my life..and one was that I am ever so thankful for my sight..and all of the beauty that I do get to see..for sometimes we take things for granted..until you yourself kind of experience just a little of what it would be like..and last night it was really dark in our home..and so of course the second thing it got me thinking about was the scriptures in the bible that tells us as Gods children to stay in the light..for it says this unto us..”If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us…1 John 1:6-8…for guys when we are in the dark and we are trying to walk around we do stumble into things..and things will kinda of catch us off guard..cause we can’t see them as we should or even as we could but if we were in the light of the Lord we would be able to see and we wouldn’t be stumbling around in all directions..for the bible says this as well..that our eyes are the lamps of our bodies..and it says that if our eyes be single our whole body will be full of light..but if our eyes be evil..than the whole body will be full of darkness..and it goes on to say…If therefore the light that is in you be darkness, how great is that darkness!..for no man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon…Matthew 6:22-24…and as well in the book of Luke chapter 11 verses 33..it says that no man, when he hath lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light….and as well it goes on again to say this unto us…and that is the light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy whole body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light…Luke 11:34-36…for you see light and darkness is a serious thing for us being Gods children..for the Lord Himself the bible says is light..and in the Lord there is no darkness…for it says if we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin…1 John 1:5-7…for you see we are to be salt and light the word says in this ole world in which we live…for it says..You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under the foot of men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. therefore it tells us to let our lights so shine before men, that they may see our good works, and glorify our Father which is in heaven…Matthew 5:13-16…so this is my prayer for us all today and that would be Lord keep us all in your light..Father keep our lamps burning and keep us so much Dear Lord on fire for you…God help us to stay in the light as you Father are in the light and help us to always shine as brightly as we can for you Dear Lord in this ole darkened world in which we live…for Lord we know that just a little light repels away that darkness..and Father I ask this in the name that is above every name the name of Jesus..and Lord we give you praise and we give you honor and we thank you for this day..help us to go forth and be the disciples that you alone have called for each of us to be..taking our eyes off from us Dear Lord..and placing them and keeping them on you..for you Father, are the Author and the Finisher of our faith…Hebrews 12:2..and we praise you for that..In Jesus name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
